August BarkBox Review

I just got my September BarkBox in the mail and I'm dying to post on it. Henry has been running around with his new toy for about an hr now! I couldn't let August slip by though since, as usual, Henry loved it. We got his new favorite toy in it that he has loved on for a month already! Anyway, let's look at the goods! September will go up tomorrow!

BarkBox:
Type: Pet box
Cost: $29/month includes shipping- $18/month with 6-month subscription
What is it?: This just for dogs pet subscription box offers 3 box options: Small & Cute (0-20 lbs), Just Right (20-50 lbs), and Big & Bold (50+ lbs). Each month you receive 4 or more products and present for your dog. Products can include treats, toys, shampoos, and even leashes. Sooo much stuff!!

Quaker Pet Group- Hear Doggy! Whale Toy: The tag says: Try Me! You dog can hear it... But you can't! This GENIUS toy had a squeaker that makes sounds at a pitch only dogs can hear. And it soooo works! Henry loves this toy! Plus it's soft and the perfect size for him. It's replaced the orange sprong from the July BarkBox as his fav toy. Granted he still plays with the sprong, but he has ripped it up a lot and whale is so incredibly perfect for him! Price: $9.99

The Honest Kitchen- Ice Pups: This grain-free, salt-free mixer turns your ice tray into a den of frozen treats for your best friend... and we still haven't used it yet! We actually found it the other day in our kitchen pantry where we must have put it after forgetting to make it. We fail. Maybe I'll do it today since Henry loves the frozen smoothie treats we've gotten before from BarkBox and this is similar. Price: $0.99

Barkworthies- Natural Hickory Beef Treats: Henry LOVES Barkworthies. BarkBox introduced us and we love them! He goes crazy for these all-natural treats- they just smell sooo good to him. These mini 4 cal ones are perfect for training and tricks. We use them all the time! Price: $6.30

Primal Pet- Freeze-Dried Liver Munchies: Henry doesn't super love freeze dried treats... well, he does, but his tummy doesn't love to have too much of them. This turkey liver, however, is the bomb. We picked up some amazing puzzles from Doggyloot (which is amazing- check it out here!) and we love putting this treat in the holes in the puzzles. It's perfect. Price: $6.99

Barkworthies- Bully flakes: ANOTHER Barkworthies product! And a huge one at that! This food topper/flavor enhancer is just a ton of bully flakes. Shut your face. Ground up bully sticks to put on top of food? Henry goes crazy for this. We've also used this in his Doggyloot puzzles. We've put it on his food a few times and it does the trick times a million. We've used it sparingly since I think he'd get addicted! Best product ever. Price: $5.51

Verdict: I love BarkBox sooo much. This might be one of the best boxes to date with his favorite toy and the bully flakes along with 2 treat bags and a little somethin' extra! It's a lot, let's just say that, but the toy and the bully flakes were amazing finds I'm not sure we'd ever find on our own! This box had a value just under $30 so right at the one-time price or quite a bit over the usual pricing (6-month sub is people's fav). The monetary value is nothing compared to how much Henry loves these products though and how long they will last! Thanks BarkBox!!

Love.

  1. I LOVE doggyloot! Best deals around on bully sticks. My dogs subscribe to the toy of the month sub, and have yet to be disappointed. I haven't done barkbox because I have one that has a lot of food allergies so I'm afraid she wouldn't be able to eat most of the treats. But it looks like a great sub for a "normal" dog ;)
