September Bespoke Post Selection Time
It's no secret we love Bespoke Post! I'm late in most August reviews (and Sept posts-oops) but don't worry I didn't forget about Bespoke Post! We actually ordered one of the August backordered Frontier (previously called Hemingway) and it just shipped! Anyway, check out this month's options- I'm late so only 2 more days to pick (well, 2 1/4)!
Type: Men's Lifestyle Box
Cost: $45/month
What is it?: From their website: "Bespoke Post delivers fresh and interesting lifestyle brands and products to men. Each month, you'll get to choose from one of our limited-edition boxes filled with an array of products built around a central, unique theme." Subscribers can preview their box and decide to skip or receive that month's box until the 5th of each month. Please use my referral link if you sign up!
This month features three boxes:
Madrid French Press, 1 Liter, Grosche
An electric drip machine has got nothing on this time-tested exercise in simplicity and good taste. Grosche’s top-of-the-line Madrid French Press lets you craft your own cup with an easy process that produces extraordinary results. Just steep your coffee grounds or loose-leaf tea in the hand-made beaker, press, strain and pour. It’s simple to use, but controls the brewing to your exact preferences so you'll end up with a better handle on your drink's flavor profile. Since there's better contact with the water, your cup will be richer and more full-bodied (not to mention more stylish).
Milk Frother, Red or Black, Grosche
Tired of the same cup of coffee every morning? Try out a cafe au lait, latte, cappuccino, or any other frothed milk drink instead. Just pour some milk, flip a switch, and the surprisingly strong motor whips up frothed milk at the right consistency needed for the classic coffee drinks you never thought you could make. Note: 2 AA batteries required
Dulcinea Coffee Beans, 6oz, Cafe Integral
Café Integral curates, roasts, and serves up expertly selected Nicaraguan coffees in their own small-batch blends in downtown New York. Each batch is crafted (literally) from the ground up, by carefully working with specific regions and growers to oversee every step of production. This variation has a medium body and a molasses-like sweetness along with notes of cocoa -- so, more than a few steps above your generic supermarket tin. This is how coffee is supposed to taste.
Earl Grey De La Créme Tea, 1.8oz, Tiesta Tea
That’s right, a French press can handle tea just as easily as coffee. Tiesta's Earl Grey packs black tea with vanilla and blue mallow blossoms for a sweet, creamy improvement to your morning cup. The loose blend allows for unique ingredients and a more thorough steeping process since the flavor isn’t contained to a small bag of over-processed leaves. Just toss some into your new French press, steep, strain, and enjoy a fresh take on earl grey.
This is this month's only new box and perfect for someone new or without a French Press. This would be an upgrade from our $8 one but we're not sure yet! This is a men's box but I always love the stuff too but this month has a lot of coffee stuff which I don't like (tea is included though)!

This box includes:
Wooden Poker Box, Bespoke Post
If you don't already have a regular gambling night, you're going to want one now. Rather than rely on a bulky, metal, and, let’s face it, ugly poker case, we decided to build our own from scratch for a sharp and sophisticated step up that won’t look out of place in your wood-paneled, leather armchair-furnished man cave (you have one, right?). We also packed in everything you need - it all fits perfectly inside the case's plush red felt interior, along with a soft felt-lined bottom and a classic metal enclosure.
Poker Chips, Bespoke Post
These aren’t the frail plastic chips you’re used to. We’ve stocked the poker box with 360 chips in four different colors, plus a dealer chip -- plenty for your friendly home game (though what they’re worth is up to you). The 11.5 gram clay composite gives them a substantial feel and that familiar clink when you throw ‘em around, whether you’re betting on poker, blackjack, or go fish.
Cards, 2 decks, Various Casinos
You might have a drawer full of old playing cards, but how many of them came from the best casinos on the strip? These are straight from the Vegas floors, with the edges cut through to signify that they’re out of circulation (after they’ve helped people win and lose some serious money), and the casino-grade cardstock gives them a substantial feel and perfect weight.
We didn't get this last month since poker isn't CJ's thing but after seeing more pics of this, it looks awesome! The case is gorgeous and just cause we don't play poker now, it doesn't mean game night couldn't be a thing in the future! We can't decide!
Stirred
This box includes:
Extra Large Stemmed Mixing Glass, Cocktail Kingdom
Here's what you need to mix for a crowd: a thick, sturdy glass with a 750ml capacity that lets you do plenty of mixing with the perfect chill and dilution in every pour. Pour in some ice, sweet vermouth, Angostura bitters, and Zacapa rum to stir up a batch of rum Manhattans, or experiment with your own drink of choice. Saves plenty of time and effort when you're mixing for a crowd, and lets you look damn stylish while you do it.
Hoffman Spoon, Stainless Steel 33.5cm, Cocktail Kingdom
You need a spoon with enough weight, balance, and length to properly mix ingredients without breaking the ice or submerging your fingers -- so your table spoon just isn't gonna cut it. This key addition to your mixology arsenal has got enough reach to stir up your 750ml mixing glass, and the twisted stem is easy to grip even when your hand's soaked in booze.
Leopold Coupe Glass, 2 7.5oz glasses, Cocktail Kingdom
A regular martini glass might do the job, but here's your chance to step it up by serving your creations in the same glass you get at your favorite cocktail spot. Your drinks just got a whole lot more sophisticated.
Cocktail Picks, Stainless Steel 4-pack, Cocktail Kingdom
Ditch the cheap plastic versions and garnish like a pro with polished steel picks -- perfect for topping your cocktail with olives, cherries, lemon peel, or whatever else your heart desires. Then throw 'em in the dishwasher and repeat anytime your cocktail needs a garnish-sized hit of fresh flavor.
Jamaican Bitters, Bittercube
These artisanal summer bitters are slow-crafted by hand in Madison, WI over a two month process, involving peeling hundreds of pounds of citrus and spices, while using no extracts or oils. These are as pure as pure can be and will add some serious heft to your next cocktail adventure. Find recipes and more online.
Speed Pourer, Cocktail Kingdom
These gems will streamline your pour while making you look like a pro in the process. Just place on your bottles and let your hands do the rest.
This is the third month this has been available and again we are leaning away from it but it doesn't mean we don't like it! We actually have a lot of this stuff so it's hard to get it although I love the glasses!
So, what do you all think? Bespoke Post is one of our faves even though it's so pricey- which box are you getting or want to get?
We can't decided but I feel like Aces just keeps looking better and better- so pretty! And CJ and I actually play card games pretty frequently.
Last note: Bespoke Post lets you add on items- so you can get more awesome stuff! If only I could order some of the amazing old boxes!
