September Wantable Intimates Review
When Wantable sent out an e-mail announcing a brand new subscription service, Wantable Intimates, I jumped right on it! I LOVE their makeup box and just started their Accessories box (I loved my first one!) so I couldn't say no to anything else they offered! Like all Wantable boxes they have an extensive quiz that you can change up at any time. I was soo excited to receive my first box the other day! Coobie- The Essential Thin Strap Cami in Seafoam: I love this! I originally didn't want any tanks/camis in my box but I'm so glad I kept that on my quiz (which is why I change things up on my quiz after each box- sometimes I surprise myself with my choices). This is comfy and cute. Would work as pjs or comfy day wear or under dresses with too much cleavage... you know what I'm talking about! Love it! Price: $20
Jolie Intimates Thong- Patrice?: The info card says Patrice size L but the actual undies says size 7 Jolie Intimates. I'm a bit confused. The description on the card is right (lacy/plum) but there is some weird conflicting info. I may e-mail Wantable about this difference since they have the best customer service in the world! I always change up my quizzes a bit after the first box and when I went back I saw my waist in inches may have been wrong although my sizing was right but still, the wrong size was probably my fault! My hips are the biggest part of me so ya gotta be sure with intimates boxes. The piece is cute but it's way small. I'm not sure I would call it a size 7 either, I put it next to my size 4/6 stuff and I would guess it is a 6 or less and even when I was super skinny I could never get my hips in size 4 undies! Size 4 dress- yes- size 4 in undies- no! Price: $9
Muk Luks- Sabrina Tights: I LOVE tights and live in them when it's cold- I rarely wear pants- I like tights under shorts in the summer too... even if my summer roomies called my Legsly Laura because of it... Anyway, I love tights BUT most come from one brand since few brands accommodate my height. At 5'11" and not tiny (I'm the right weight for my height but a lot of people think tall and imagine models- boo) so I need tights that are bigger. I can't count the amount of times I've tried on a pair to get them to my knees and realize there is no way in hell that there will be enough material to go another two feet! Wantable has an extensive quiz of height, weight, measurements, so I took a gamble and liked tights on the quiz. I was relieved to see this sizing went past my weight and the height of 6'! It'll probably be a stretch but it should work! I haven't tried them on yet- trying on heavy tights in 100 degree heat feels weird- but I think it'll work. The style isn't my favorite but they are super fall-y and I think they will look super cute. Price: $21
Pheel- Essence Red Tank: I'm shocked that I like this so much! This work out tee is perfect! I think I'll use it as just that (a work-out tee) but it's so comfy I could see it as pjs. It's definitely cute enough to wear out- love it! I probably wouldn't have chosen this and turns out it's my fav from this box! Yes, I'm a lululemon lover but I wear all kinds of things especially on walks with pup in this heat and this top is high quality so I;m sold! This is a size S and it's perfect. I usually wear S or sometimes M for tops and I love that they knew just what was right. (I'm much smaller on top than bottom!). This top is a great length for work-outs (over the hips) and doesn't roll-up (so it says) aka awesome! Price: $48
Verdict: Strangely enough, the undies were the only part of the intimates box I didn't like. The tank and cami are awesome and I have high hopes for the tights! I am already planning some more change ups in my quiz since I loved the tank so much AND I "disliked" accessories but saw some people getting that little bugger that turns regular bras into racerback ones and I want it! The BEST thing about this sub is the array of categories/items. Most intimates boxes are just undies or lingerie and this includes tights, shapewear, leggings, hosiery, camis, socks, loungewear, accessories, tanks, bras, and undies- phew- long list! This $36 box (I signed up for the sub) was valued at $98!!! The tank (which was my favorite part) was priced more than the box itself! SOO excited for my next box!
