September Loot Crate Review
Loot Crate came this past weekend and we were sooo excited! This month's theme, Animate, just seemed perfect for us and we couldn't wait to dig in! We're both big cartoon fans and we were so excited by all the possibilities! Check out the goods!

Egoraptor- PokeAwesome Sticker: Obviously this is about Pokemon. Or really, a take on Pokemon. This vinyl sticker comes from Egoraptor's YouTube series- "Awesome Series." I hadn't seen it before hearing about it from Loot Crate- it's definitely NSFW so look it up on your own if you want. I watched some Pokemon in my day so I got a kick out of the first video and their jokes. I think I'll watch more sometime with CJ. Price: ~$2.50
Loot Crate Labs- It's Over 9000! Wall Vinyl: I'm trying to get the products I didn't get all the references to out of the way first. I'm ashamed that I had no idea what this was... until CJ didn't know either! It's actually from Dragonball Z- which makes sense why we didn't know. CJ always loves getting Loot Crate stickers and wall vinyls though so he'll put this up somewhere. Price: ~$3
Bizklimkit- Teenage Mutant Ninja Trooper Magnet: This was made for CJ. TMNT + Star Wars. Perfect. This mashup magnet is truly excellent. Gotta display this proudly! Price: ~$2
FOX Family Guy- Quagmire Lip Balm: This month Loot Crate sent out different varieties of lip balm- you could get a Family Guy one (I think Stewie was an option too) or a Yoshi lip balm. Way different! This Quagmire one says, "You must be a parking ticket, 'cause you got fine written all over you." Classic Quagmire. I've seen every Family Guy episode yet I still wanted Yoshi. CJ doesn't like chapstick so this was my product and I feel a bit weird keeping Quagmire in my purse. It's still a fun product though! Price: $2.99
Kit Robot and Matt Groening- Willie Keychain: Loot Crate sent out different options here- and not just what could be in the box but what show! They sent out pieces from Futurama and The Simpsons. Both shows are near and dear to our hearts! Futurama is excellent and I grew up on The Simpsons- we're actually starting at Season 1 and watching all 24 seasons now (on 4 now, I think) and we've seen all but the newest Futurama. We both kinda wanted Futurama more but I was excited to get Willie! Side note: CJ and I (but mainly me) play The Simpsons: Tapped Out on our phones too. We are Simpsons people- and that's awesome. Price: $5.99
*I would have loved Bumbleeman or Bender a lot btw.
Jazwares and Nicktoons- Ren & Stimpy Plushies: With all the great cartoonage out there I was a little surprised by the Ren & Stimpy inclusion but I know people are crazy about the show. I SO would have rather gotten Stimpy since this Ren doll is just as weird and creepy as the character- googly eyes, posable arms, and weird sound effects! Price: $13.99
Here's the weirdest thing- my dog wanted it sooo bad. We put him on the shelf and he just barked and barked! Here's a vid:
Our dog is crazy- we let him play with it for a minute- SUPER supervised since it is NOT a dog toy!

This is CJ getting him ready to take him outside- he dropped Ren and I hid him while Henry was outside. Sooo weird.
Funko and Nickelodeon- TMNT POP! Vinyl: Much to CJ's hatred, I unboxed this month's Loot Crate. So mean. But I tried to make it extra fun! Hiding this box, I asked him who his fav TMNT was.. and then his 2nd... and 3rd... ta-da! Raphael! He didn't care which one it would be though- TMNT is CJ's jam and he was SOO excited at this inclusion- another addition to his desk of Loot Crate toys! Love it! This may be his favorite yet! Price: $10.95
Verdict: This box was on the high-side in value, coming in around $41.42! Win! I admit, I was missing my Futurama (which they did include for some), and Adventure Time- and who would have said no to Studio Ghibli (Howl's is my fav btw), but their picks were pretty good especially since they included CJ's fav TMNT! I might take the Willie Keychain for my own (love it) and CJ's new TMNT vinyl figure is his new favorite. Such a good Loot Crate this month!
