First look!

Every Beauty- Makeup Remover Pads with Argan Oil: I hate makeup remover wipes since I've been allergic in the past (think rashy skin-eww). So I wasn't excited at first glance... then I saw alcohol free!!! It's usually the alcohol part that makes my skin go crazy- woot woot! These all-natural, just add water wipes will probably work for me- first time ever from a box! Price: $0.70

Bella Pierre Cosmetics- Celebration Shimmer Powder: This powder gives you long-lasting color without fillers. You can throw some of this powder on throughout the day to add some sparkle and shimmer. That's the on-the-go idea. I like shimmer powders- they can add something especially on those days when you are feeling/looking bleak. Sometimes I get done with my makeup and I still somehow look like death- enter shimmer. This is't an everyday product for me but I like the addition. Full-size! Price: $15

Body Drench- Lip Drench in Coconut Lime: I always say you can't have enough lip balms- I never mind getting so many in boxes BUT since this is my first BeautyBox5 I was hoping for something more exciting. I surprisingly like the subtle smell (coconut usually isn't my fav) and it definitely does the job with hydration. Full-size! Price: $4.99

Skiin Shop- Skin Smoothing & Soothing Eye Cream: I get eye creams a lot in boxes and samples at Sephora (always looking to cure those undereye bags) but I haven't gotten anything like this before. I thought it was a chemical peel sample at first glance. Fights fine lines, dark circles, and puffiness so the same claims as usual but with a unique light-defusing cream. Gotta say their packaging makes me wanna try it. Fingers crossed it's life changing!  This bugger is pricey! Price: $9.99

Fine Featherheads- Fly Ties: This definitely fits on-the-go. I'm an avid Twistband person and these similar ties are right up my alley. I already have pretty much all these colors but it doesn't matter super much to me. I pretty much always have one on my person and I'm sure I've lost some in the fray. Anyone, these kinds of ties are excellent and pretty enough to keep on your wrist through the whole day! Price: $7.95

Verdict: After pricing the first item (the makeup remover pads) I thought this box would barely be able to hit the box price and then I felt dumb considering there were three full-size products included and the skiin sample is pricey! $50 for a full-size which is only about 5 times the size of the sample. Anyway, this $12 box ended up being worth $38.63. Awesome- over three times the cost of the box! To me, BeautyBox5 is a beauty box featuring beauty products with a few makeup items, and items are full-size or deluxe samples. You get a big bang for your buck and it looks like an array of products. I'm sticking with BeautyBox5 at least one more month but if they continue to have products like these (5/5 products I like and will use) then I'm sold!
