Another edition of Monday Musings!
-It's Fall! Kind of... the autumn season officially started yesterday. It wasn't 100 here but it wasn't exactly hot cider weather.
- Danielle J. won my Fancy Box giveaway! I just e-mailed this morning (didn't do any blog stuff yesterday!) so look in your inbox! My only complaint with this giveaway was that Fancy changed their twitter handle from @thefancy to @fancy like 3 days into the giveaway and I didn't change the tweets. Oh well. People seemed to really like this one so I was thinking I'd do it again sometime! Sound good?!
- It'll be a big Wantable week on the blog. Ok, not that big but I have Wantable Makeup and Wantable Accessories to post which is a lot for one company! I'm gonna finish my last August box post today (yeah!) and Birchbox and...
- A new GIVEAWAY! It's a good one. A box. But one of my favorite of favorites boxes. Any guesses? I'm so excited about this!
- Have about 10 other box posts this week- hopefully including my PopSugar Must Have box! I've never gotten it this late! Where is it?!
- Besides all that I'm gonna try and keep up with trying new daily features about me, myself, and I which I feel like a lot of people don't care about... I have a suggestion! It's helpful, I swear. If you only want giveaways and reviews and box stuff I suggest following my blog on a reader- I use Bloglovin' personally but there a few out there that are good. That way you can see posts like "Tuesday Tidbits" and say, "nahh, don't care." I'll only be a little offended... just kidding!
- I never watch award shows, the get long and boring... and I don't have cable. I DO like hearing about the shows later and watching funny clips and seeing the fashion and the winners. I heard this year's show was depressing especially because anytime it got lighthearted there would be another memorial and everyone would get sad... Anyway, I watched the monologue- Kevin Spacey was the best part!!
- With the winners?!? I still haven't watched Homeland so I'm clueless about it... I'm not caught up on Breaking Bad but I understand the genius already... But here's my surprises/snubs/disappointments:
*Modern Family won again! I love the show but I thought there were better contenders this year!
*I think everyone was shocked Kerry Washington didn't take home Best Actress is a drama- she rocks it in Scandal.
*Kevin Spacey or Bryan Cranston didn't win Lead Actor?
*C'mon someone give Amy Poehler the Lead Actress win- she deserves it!
*Tony Hale in Veep was a surprise but I liked it- Modern Family always wins and I'm pretending he won for his years on Arrested Development.
-What's up with October boxes? I'm trying to do a semi "no-buy" in October and every box for October (that is new for me) looks amazing. There are like 10 boxes I really want.
