Birchbox Limited Edition: Head of Class Review + Giveaway
I have SO many reviews to catch up on and today I'm gonna work on all my Beauty boxes! This off-shoot from Birchbox seemed the perfect way to start! I LOVE Birchbox's Limited Edition boxes so I snatched up this one right away- I'm had it awhile and luckily they are still for sale. It's technically a back-to-school kind of box but it's full of great stuff for anyone!Birchbox Limited Edition: Head of Class: $28
HUGE shipping box for this- so weird!
This box is a little larger than the standard Birchbox- thus the giant shipping box! Very cute.
First Look.
Info booklet!
It's lined out like a daily school schedule- cute.
Again, not in school, not a tween, still loved the box.
willa- I Start Fresh Foaming Facial Wash: Start the day off with a smart cleanser that won't dry your skin out. Umm- ok- sounds great! I love a good face wash and I have been varying my routine a bit- I haven't tried this yet (full disclosure- it just hasn't been put away into my bathroom yet) but it looks great.
Price: $3.66
Stila- lip gaze in dreamy: I love stila and already have a few lip glosses that I love! I was stoked to get a color I didn't already have and I love the shade. It's not as dark as it looks and creates a perfect neutral shade on my lips. It's not sticky and it smells nummy too! Price: $13.75
Jane Tran- Chrysanthemum Print Bobby Set: This was the main reason I ordered this box/the biggest score (initially). I loved the Birchbox bobbys we got a few months ago and these Jane Tran ones were in the same fashion- big and beautiful! I love these! Price: $12
Sisco & Berluti- Friendship Bracelets: I'd say these were the most kid-like products of the box but it's really the fact that there are two more than the products themselves. One alone is a pretty nice blinged out bracelet with a pop of color. I am not a gold person so I gave both of these to a friend- she'll hopefully wear one and pass one on to a good home. Price: $30
Color Club- Nail Polish in Flamingo & Silver Lake: I'm not color club's biggest fan (formula isn't my fav) but I DO use mine and I really like these colors. I love hot pink nails (I have quite a few like this) and Silver Lake is a brand new color for me! I love it! Price: $16
Birchbox- Custom Pouch: I get awesome makeup/travel pouches each month from Ipsy but this custom made pouch by Birchbox totally tops others. It's made of a great fabric and would be a perfect pencil case. I'm using it for nail stuff and loving it! Price: $12
Color Club- Sequin Nail Art Kit: The Birchbox pouch held little treasures of its own! I like doing nail art and am hoping I have the patience to use these cool sequins. I think people got between 4-5 of these beauties so I was a lucky one to get 5 different colors. Price: $5
Poppin- Pink Small Soft Cover Notebook: CJ got a poppin notebook in his last Bespoke Post and the only reason I didn't try and steal it was because I had gotten my own in this Birchbox box. It's really nice and I've been using it already- I love writing in little notebooks for lists and the like so I'm all for getting notebooks in boxes! Price: $6
Verdict: I started using the pouch, lip glaze, bobby pins, and notebook immediately and am all about my new polishes, nail kit, and even my new face wash. That's all but one item! Score! Loved this box, I always end up liking Birchbox Limited Edition boxes when I have them in hand but I was super excited about this one since I had buyer's remorse at first seeing all the "tween friendly" jargon. Turns out it's awesome. And was it worth the $28 price tag? All totaled this box was valued at $98.41 so almost $100 in stuff!
Birchbox still has this box available so I'm buying one for one lucky reader!
I admit, I'm nervous that it hasn't sold out and will just when I do a giveaway so I'm making this a short two-day giveaway! If something happens and it sells out then I'm compensate some other way...

It's a great box even if you're NOT in school, I think the only thing I wouldn't use would be the friendship bracelet... it's a little too childish for me but I could def find a use for everything else! =]
ReplyDeleteThis looks so cute!
