July BarkBox Review

My BarkBox this month is one of the best ones we've ever gotten! It was stocked full and Henry LOVES it! Amazing treats and a new fav toy! Check it out!

BarkBox:
Type: Pet box
Cost: $29/month includes shipping- $19/month with 6-month subscription
What is it?: This just for dogs pet subscription box offers 3 box options: Small & Cute (0-20 lbs), Just Right (20-50 lbs), and Big & Bold (50+ lbs). Each month you receive 4 or more products and present for your dog. Products can include treats, toys, shampoos, and even leashes. A great thing about BarkBox is that they give a portion of each box's proceeds to help dogs-in-need. Use my referral link to help me continue getting this box AND get $5 off your first box.

I tried to take some good pics of my pup but they never turn out great. He KNOWS when it's BarkBox though- he gets so excited and smells the box like crazy! He can smell those nummies!

The box- it was bigger than usual.

First look.

Real first look- TONS of stuff!

Info cards

Barworthies- Bully Stick: Barkworthies is a favorite of BarkBox and their subscribers aka me! Well, really Henry loves 'em. This one was weird looking since it was made with beef bladder and Henry actually sniffed it in confusion... for about 5 seconds, and then he ran away with it and chowed down. Honestly, it smells nasty when he jumps on me to cuddle while chowing down on this bully stick but I can't be mad since he's so adorable. I love a happy puppy. Price: $2.99

Safemade for BarkBox- flexi-bowl: I  just bought a k-9 waterbottle from TheFancy for puppy on walks but we didn't have anything right now for travel! We did have a portable bowl but CJ left it at a rest-stop when he came to visit me in NY. This one is soo much better than our old one! It's dishwasher, freezer, and OVEN safe. So crazy. I think we're gonna bake him a puppy cake in this- anyway, it's flexible so it's so easy to throw in a bag! Price: $4

Mr. Barksmith's Cool Treats- Smoothies for Dogs: We got this in one of our first BarkBoxes and loved it! We froze this one and gave it to Henry as a cool, delicious treat. It was PB flavored so Henry went crazy for it. Price: $1.33

No Grainers- Training Size Soft Chews: Another amazing treat from BarkBox! These are grain, wheat, corn, and soy free and made from American chicken. And they smell like beef jerky. For real. These treats smell like human food- aka weird for dog food- I'm not used to wanting to eat Henry's food! Anyway, Henry LOVES this new treat. He gets the crazy eyes when we pull these out. Price: $4.49

Max &Ruffy's- Five Star Blueberry Treats: Two bags of treats in one box!!??! Umm, ok! We love these mini bites since they are a perfect size for our little pup. This non-GMO treat is only the best in organic fruit and product and each ingredient is human grade which we love! I didn't know if Henry would dig these since he loves his meat-smelling treats but he loves 'em! We got a coupon code for this awesome company and we may have to try some of their other awesome treats. Price: $5.25

R2P Pet- Sprong: Weird toy right? It's velvety and squishy and squeaky... and it may be Henry's favorite toy... I think he likes the squishy, soft feel since he runs around all day with it. We play fetch with it, he chews on it- it's multi-purpose and Henry can't get enough of it. I would have never guessed but it's amazing! New favorite toy brand. Price: $5

Blurry but still cute.

Verdict: Altogether this BarkBox is valued around $23- I'm surprised it's not more considering ALL the stuff I got but it's still comparable to my plan ($19/month). Anyway, we got 2 full bags of treats, a new favorite toy for Henry, a new travel bowl, a cool treat for the hot summer, AND a chew for my chewer. I LOVE BarkBox- not only do I get to spoil my pet but they are amazing company as shown with the free gift months they sent out to all subscribers (which turned into my recent giveaway). I 100% recommend this box if you have a dog - check 'em out and use my link to save $5!

  1. Have you ever been on doggyloot.com? I get my pug lots of treats and chews from their site. Very reasonably priced (and free shipping all the time!) plus many of the items are made in the USA. I only feed my dog USA made, so that's a big deal to me!
If you haven't already, check it out! If you click this link:
