June Treatsie Review
Treatsie is becoming one of my favorite subscription boxes. It's just so yummy AND has a great team behind it. No idea why, but Treatsie was somehow rejected at the house I was staying at in NY (nothing else was) and while I had no idea this happened, the team at Treatsie noticed, contacted me, and when nothing re-appeared, sent me a replacement box! So great! I didn't have to stay on top of things at all and voila yummy treats at my doorstep!Treatsie:

What is it?: This brand new candy- think bon bons- subscription company features artisan chocolates with a technological flair. I know it's a bunch of pics. I love this box though!
My goodies!
Liddabit Sweets- Dark Chocolate Caramel: Truth be told, I don't remember which caramel this is... Anyway, we loved getting this in this box since one of my roomies we called "Little Bit." Craziness. Anyway, on to the taste. I love caramel and this had a great taste. Not my favorite since dark choco isn't my fav combo with caramel but still really good. You can tell it's made with real ingredients. Price: $3.50
Liddabit Sweets- Fig Ricotta Caramels: Yum, yum! I loved this strange concoction of caramel! This would be sooo good with port and a cheese plate (as Treatsie suggests). Instead we gobbled them up.
Price ~$3.50
Liddabit Sweets- Barley, Tea & Honey Lollipop: Omg, this was amazing. Seriously, soooo good. I can't describe it's yumminess but I want more! Lollipops are usually kind of meh, but this was fantastic. I'm actually planning to order more. It's the perfect treat! It has a whopping 4 ingredients too. Price: $1.25
Askinosie chocolate- itty bars: "Askinosie’s “bean-to-bar” Itty Bars come in a variety of flavors as they are made with cocoa beans from different regions." Each box came with a variety of chocolates from the different regions. I can't remember but I think I had 3 from Ecuador and one from the Phillipines. I didn't get the other 2 varieties. No worries though. These itty bars are 70%+ cocoa and not really my deal but I had a roommate who ate them joyfully. Btw, A+ to Treatsie, no melted chocolate at all!
Lambrecht Gourmet- Southern Pecan Toffee: Stupid, blurry pic! Yaknow how I said the lollipop was fantastic? Well, this was shut your mouth deliciousness. I LOVE toffee and this is one of the best toffees I've EVER had!!! Soo nummy! I'm drooling just thinking about it. I'm still on my diet but this came in super handy when I ended one of the hardest, frustrating days of the summer. You know those days where you just NEED something deliciousness- well this fit the bill perfectly. I devoured it that night. Devoured!
Price: $6.50
Verdict: I don't usually price everything (or anything) in this box, the ones I put up are more for curiosity's sake. Even so, it looks like it all easily pays for the box (and that's not included if you had to individually ship everything from these small vendors). 1) Every toffee lover should try Lambrecht Gourmet's Southern Pecan toffee 2) Liddabit makes a crazy good Honey, Barley, Tea lollipop. Those two things being said, the whole box was fun to try and of course scrumptious. Love this service!
