It's finally time for my Love with Food review! I think my July box will be coming soon so I'm trying desperately to catch up! LOADS of summer goodies in this box!

The box

First look. Love with Food always stuffs in their stuff perfectly, no packing material needed.

Info card: Summer Bash!

Seriously, soo much stuff!

Seaweed Love- Roasted Seaweed: This was my 1st of 2 seaweed products I got in June. I don't like seaweed but I'm all for trying everything! I got this box the day of a BBQ and so what did I bring along with me? This packet. Cruel? Maybe. Most people gave it a try and there were even a few people who loved it! I actually thought it was alright, although I didn't love it. I think only 1 person hated on it. Price: $0.72

Smooze- Coconut+Mango Fruit Ice: I can't stop seeing coconut and mango combos everywhere this summer. There were two in this box alone! I wanted to love this all-natural fruit pop but the flavor didn't work for me (or the other person who tasted my unfinished pop). It really tasted like mango and coconut, which showed it's naturalness but it just didn't work for me as a combo. Price: $0.66

Do More Bars- Gluten-Free Pineapple Coconut Cereal Bar: Another coconut combination! I haven't tried this yet (it's pretty high cal for a bar-definitely a bar for exercising) but it actually looks really tasty. Yaknow some bars that are just dry pieces of poo? Well, this looks NOTHING like that. Anyway, their motto includes the phrase "healthy gourmet," so I'll take it! Price: $1.69

Surf Sweets- Organic Fruity Bears: Mmm I love these things. I've picked 'em up before at Whole Foods or I get the Whole Foods brand-yum- which is pretty much identical. I get them put in my pinkberry as well. Yummy! These are about everything a healthy eater can ask for from a gummy bear (except being vegan of course) and they taste great. I ordered some of the sour type to try them. Price: $1.93

Turbana- Sweet Plantain Chips: Love with Food is all about sending out non-potato chips! I think I've tried plantain chips from them before (maybe it was banana) but they weren't the sweet variety. These were good but not as good as the non-sweet ones. I think I prefer banana chips as well but these were definitely fun to try. Price: $0.79

SoyJoy- Mango Coconut SoyBar: I'm definitely a fan of veg bars and have no problem eating gluten-free schtuff! I haven't tried this yet, but there's no real reason for that. I guess I'm saving it for a rainy day? Maybe I'll love me some SoyJoy! Price: $1.33

PUR Gum- Pomegranate Mint Chewing Gum: I always get excited when I see aspartame free on a label. Aspartame makes me sick and is super terrible for you. I don't usually chew gum (TMJ) but I'll try it for taste and such. This gum had an interesting flavor that some liked (I did) and some didn't but we all agreed the lasting effect left something to be desired aka it didn't last at all. Interesting product, but not the best. Price: $1.42

GoOrganic- Organic Hard Candy: I got two little hard candies in my box and I thought they were yummy, yummy! Not too much to say about these except I love an organic yummy candy! Price: $0.25

Flavrz- Organic Drink Mix: All you have to do with this little packet is add water to create an organic superfruit sports drink. Yes! I'm all for healthy mixers! Price: $1.12

$50 Wine Card to nakewines.com: Umm, ok! This gift card actually spends like money as in, the minimum purchase required is $50 NOT Spend $100 and get half of it free. Anyway, I gotta get ON using this!
Price $50

Some extras: Coupon and recipe

Verdict: As always, I got a TON of stuff in this box. This box comes to right under the box price ($9.91) and that's BEFORE the $50 gift card! Definitely worth the money, and as always, I love that they donate a meal for every box sold. I decided to go all in and purchased another 6 months at Love with Food- I can't help myself sometimes! Check it out for yourself by using promo code FBFOOD or FBGIFT to get your first box free (just $2 for shipping)!

  1. I've gotten a few of those nakedwines cards, and I can't use any of them. Turns out they're not valid for the state of Texas, plus a few other states.

  2. Don't feel bad not being able to use them Nicole - they aren't quite....free. You have to purchase at least 6 bottles, and that's not possible to do for $50 or under - even if you are willing to pay shipping on top! I would be all for doing it, except I have no knowledge of how good ANY of the wines really are. That would be disappointing to spend 30 bucks (beyond the $50 card) on what will end up being cooking wines! But maybe they are tasty and I am just missing out!
