June Nature Box Review
CJ here again. Confession time. I may have eaten most of this before Laura got home. And by may I mean I ate the whole thing. Give me some credit though, I resisted for quite awhile. Plus I made sure to save at least one of the Nom Noms for her...NatureBox:

Chock full of tasty snacks!
Did you know that NatureBox delivers one meal for ever box to help fight hunger in America? I didn't either until I read their nifty info card! They also include a recipe for Cherry Ganache S'mores. As the simple S'more may in fact be my favorite food, this may actually happen...
On the reverse are some basic product descriptions and enlarged pictures... Important because I forgot to take photos of the actual food before it was gone! So for close ups, this is all we got.
Salsa Spiced Nut Mix: This was delicious. The spicy/sweet paired really well with the nut mix and was hard to resist. Truthfully, I didn't try very hard to resist. They were too good.
Cherry Ganache Granola: I wasn't a huge fan of this selection. From the info card "The sweet, chewy, and crispy combination..." It was the chewyness that set me off. I like my granola crispy - no soft chewyness about it. To each their own.
Peanut Butter Nom Noms: I indeed nom'd these down. They were like miniature soft-baked peanut butter cookies. Yum. I managed to save some for Laura, but she wasn't as impressed as I was... Oh well. More for me!
BBQ Kettle Kernels: Imagine Corn Nuts. That's pretty much what these were. They did have a more unique flavor combination than your average mass-produced gas station snack, but the overall effect was the same. Good, not great.
Guacamole Bites: I was a little weirded out by the name. This was the last bag to be opened, but I shouldn't have been so trepid. I agreed with the info card description of "zesty flavors of avocado, lime and corn". They might sound weird, but they taste great. Kind of like corn chips with guac - minus the *hassle* of actually dipping your chip...
Verdict: This month's selection was pretty good. The granola was a miss by me, but the Salsa Spiced Nut Mix more than made up for it. It's hard to do a price comparison on a box of all unique products - but when each of these are $4 a piece? I'd say that NatureBox is definitely worth it from a financial standpoint. Add the fact that you are getting healthy, all-natural food plus the fact that NatureBox donates a meal for every box sold, and you get a pretty good deal in my opinion.
