June Little Passports Review

When I got an offer to review Little Passports I jumped at the chance! No, I don't have kiddos but I think all the baby & kid boxes are awesome and Little Passports reminds me of a project I did in elementary school when I became fascinated with the world and getting stamps in my passport (not a real one at the time). Anyway, I wanted to see what it was like on my own so I'm super glad I had the chance to review this box.

Little Passports:
Type: Kid's Activity/Craft Box
Cost: $10.95/month (both subscriptions)
What is it?: LP offers two options- the world box: "Every month, follow our characters Sam and Sofia as they embark on a new country adventure. Your first month’s Explorer Kit arrives in a suitcase and contains everything your child needs to get started: a letter from Sam and Sofia, a map, a passport, stickers, access to online games and more. Country specific packages filled with fun souvenirs, letters, stickers, photos, activity sheets and more arrive every month thereafter." They also offer the USA box which is similar but focusing on the US. And please my link to sign up!

No packing material needed for this one!

This little "suitcase" is adorable!

Ta-da!

Here's a little letter to introduce you to Little Passports and how it works.

The first month is kind of a "stocking up" kind of month. You get the passport and suitcase for subsequent months. You put your kid's photo in the passport, answer the questions inside and put in "stamps" when you visit countries each month.

These are the main characters of this box- each month you get stickers to add onto your suitcase- starting with these two.

Not sure exactly how this photo works with this box but I think this is the garage where Sam and Sofia found this magical scooter.

Activity pages for the kiddos.

This boarding pass gives you a code to register online- I guess I didn't care to cover up my code. You get to do things on their website each month including activites with your map.

The map! This thing is really big (for a kid) but would be great on a wall- anyway, each month when you learn about a new country you get a sticker to show "where you've been" on the map.

Verdict: I obviously didn't price these things because it is way too hard to estimate things that are Little Passports specific. Anyway, it's definitley worth $11. This box was a bit of a letdown to me at first because there wasn't a lot to it. If I had a child I would have been bummed to see there wasn't really anything to do with different countires in the first box. It seems unfair though since they have to send out the map, suitcase, and passport just to start and if they did their rgular monthly stuff on top of that it would probably cost the company too much. I think it's a great idea, I just wish I could've seen it through several months as a reviewer. Thoughts?
