My fav! I didn't plaster it online but Henry (our pup) and CJ came and visited me while I was in NY so these pics were taken in our hotel.
First look!
And yes, my bf is awesome enough to bring me boxes all the way to NY so I could unbox them.
Info card and Activity Card!
It's all about the 4th of July! This is a JUNE box but BarkBox comes at the end of the month so it was close to the 4th.
Bowser Beer: For sure my favorite item! I actually had this on a Fancy finds post once! Love it! It's not alcoholic! No worries there- it's not even carbonated. It's manly beef broth that is fortified with glucosamine which is good for joints! This is great straight up or with water, on top of food, or as BarkBox so awesomely suggests, over crushed ice for a slushie! Perfect for these super hot Texas days! CJ saved this so I could see him drink it and I'm so excited! Price: $2.99
Puppy Cake- Puptato Chips: Alright, you got your beer, now you need your chips! Did I mention how much I loved this month's BarkBox?? This all-natural treat is made from dried sweet potatoes with a bit of chicken liver for a yummy smell... yummy to Henry at least. I opened 'em yesterday and he was entranced. He loves a good crinkly bag and chicken liver smell. He was confused by them at first but then he chowed down. He even ran around for awhile with a chip in his mouth just making sure we wouldn't steal it back.
Price: $4.99
Whole Life- Tail Mix Grilled Sirloin Burgers: Any good 4th of July BBQ has burgers, right? Well puppy even gets his own burger! These treats are real food dog treats aka they are made with quality meat! These little freeze-dried patties have zero fillers and let Henry have his very own burger. We gave this to him at unboxing and uh, duh, he loved them. Price: $4.99
Dale Edgar- Calm K-9 Nutri-wafers: 4th of July can be a tough day on pups. The fireworks are loud and scary so BarkBox included a product to soothe their nerves. These biscuits have chamomile, omega-3, and Vitamin B and definitely work. Henry likes the taste and while we haven't used them for fireworks, CJ did use it a few times when Henry was amped up and it lulled him a lot. The past 6 weeks have been stressful on our pup, I've been gone, and he went on two long road trips so having this the past few weeks for his stressful days has been great. This is the first "calming" product that has actually worked for us. Price: $7.48
Heartland Premium- Butcher Shoppe Bone: Drumroll please... this was the #1 thing from BarkBox! Maybe ever?!? Henry loves these bones. SOOO much. This long-lasting chew (there were 5 or 6?) isn't that long-lasting with Henry because he goes ape-s#$t over them! Seriously, it's like he's never had anything good until he had this. Thanks you BarkBox! Price: Can't find these online! ~$7
Verdict: Henry's favorite things from BarkBox are usually the chews and toys. Of course treats are always yummy, but those are his favorite things. This box had no chews and no toys and he loves it and we love it. I think that says a ton about this sub box! It's just always good. We always love it! This box was valued around $28 which is about the same price as the individual box but everyone I know gets (and you should get) the 6-month package which makes it $18/month. Anyway, it's always worth it to me. Can't help loving and spoiling my dog! Use my link to save $5 if you decide sign up.
