Birchbox Home: From the Garden Review

YES! I was soo excited to get my Birchbox Home box this week! This is the second limited edition, one time purchase box with the best in home products box that I have seen! I passed on the last box but this one looked so good! Let me tell ya, I am NOT disappointed! It's sold out- sorry all : ( but you can buy some of the box's products in their store!

Don't forget to enter my latest Giveaway!

Birchbox:
Type: Beauty Box
Cost: $10/month includes shipping
What is it?: Every month you receive a box of 4-6 beauty and lifestyle products. Each month there are about 30+ different boxes that you might be sent which makes each month a surprise. Birchbox is a great forum to learn about and discover new products and brands. Birchbox has a points system given when a subscription plan is purchased, reviewing products, and buying full-size products in their shop. Every 100 points can be used as $10 off. Use my referral code to get started but know that Birchbox has a waiting period of usually 4-5 weeks.

I wish all their boxes were this cute (I am not hating on the pink box-to be clear) but I could do without the white paper- my desk is COVERED in white dust from it!

So many info cards! On top of the info card for the products there were fun cards on things applying to the products like knife cuts and gardening.

Nurture:

Gift Republic- Grow Me: Mini Herb and Vegetable Growing Kit: I admit that this is the reason I wanted this box (and the knife). This just looked too adorable. I also love that we got basil (not sure if everyone got the same kind) since we also just got that make your own mozzarella box and I'm all about some caprese! That being said, we kind of have black thumbs around here. I bought CJ a herb growing kit that is made from a wine bottle and it was "so easy." Ya, two attempts, two failures. We have a sunnier place now though so maybe that was the problem. Whatever, this is super cute and I can't wait to attempt to make it grow!  Price: $6

TOCCA- Crema de Mano Luxe: This was put in to aid your dry, gardening hands. Holy crap- this stuff is awesome! It smells AMAZING and feels just as good- it's moisturizing without being greasy. I am in love. Seriously, go find this and buy it. Price: $20

Slice and Dice:

Core Bamboo- Radish Print Utility Knife: I wanted this so bad! It's adorable- right? Makes me want to cut up some veggies right now! It's not dishwasher safe but knives are better washed by hand anyway. Price: $13.99

Provision:

Baggu- Market Shopping Bad: I have a million and one reusable shopping bags but that doesn't mean I don't need more (or that always remember the ones I have... I'm terrible). This one is super cute and I LOVE that it folds up! It's surprisingly huge too. I actually use these types on bags for everything (not just groceries) so I know this will get plenty of use, especially since I got such a cute one. Price: $9

Birchbox- Shopping List: I love office supplies, stationary, making lists, etc. so this will get used for sure. It's cute and functional. Done and done. Price: $6

Sarabeth's- Legendary Fruit Spread in Strawberry Raspberry and Peach Apricot: I love mini food- it's adorable. These preserves look so good too- I'm sure CJ will be digging into these asap. Price: $1.83

Nest:

LAFCO- Little Luxuries Candle: How cute is this? I think the theme of this box should have been cute and adorable stuff. It has matches in the lid- too cute! It smells great too! We are candle people (that's a thing right?) meaning we love to light candles all the time. Woot- new amazing candle! Price: $20

L'OCCITANE- Jasmin & Bergamot Eau de Toilette: Woah- this smells soooo good. I love it! I just discovered Bergamot and am now thinking that may be the reason I love this! Dude Sweet Chocolate btw has the most delicious amazing combo of begamot and jasmin ever- check it out here. Anyway, this stuff smells amazing- thank you much Birchbox! Price: $6.80

Verdict: All totaled this Birchbox Home box came out to $83.62 in products! The products are amazing and well worth the $32 this box cost- I used some points too so this was less than $10 for me! Super score!!! I like all of it and LOVE a few of the products- seriously, go try that TOCCA lotion. All in all, an amazing box- here's hoping they do another Home box soon!
