April PopSugar Must Have Box Review

I have to warn you all right off the bat- I had heard all about this box already- mainly from the loads of unhappy customers!

The traditional pink and white details! BUT the sticker says POPSUGAR instead of Enjoy! now- yes, I noticed.

Usually it is impossible to take pics of this info booklet but this month it was easier since there were less items.

On to the stuff!

Alter Eco Dark Quinoa Chocolate: This is my second box today with a chocolate bar (2/3 today)! I like quinoa and I'm guessing this will taste somewhat like a crunch bar. It won't be quinoa-y, it is just for texture. Some people thought this looked gross but I have high hopes. A coupon is included too btw. The company is pretty cool and I like the info about Ecuador on the back. Price: $3.99

Kai Perfume Oil: This roll on fragrance is a "classic scent" with gardenias and white exotic flowers. It says it has quite a celeb following too. I had high hopes for this clean scent and uhhh, not my thing. Super bummed. I think the scent is too mature for me, no offense to those who love it, to each his or her own! After some more reflection, it might actually just be more of a "home" scent. I could see this as a incense or candle scent in my house but not on my body. Boo! This was such a steal coming in this box that I really wanted to love it! Price: $48

Shashi New Nugget Bracelet: I have to say, I braced myself taking this bracelet out of the bag, wondering what color it could be. I am half-way sad that it is brown. I rarely wear brown and, again, GOLD- this isn't too much gold for me but I am a black and silver gal aka opposite of this bracelet. That being said, I could definitely work it into some outfits. But then I took a closer look. The nuggets just don't lay well! The top right pic is how it came out of the bag, stuck in that position! And the bottom left is directly after taking it off my wrist- that is how it lay on my wrist. Boo. Thank goodness it fit me unlike previous bracelets! This bracelet is boxy even though it isn't supposed to be. A lot of other subscribers said the same thing so I'm not alone but that totally sucks! What could be a great little accessory is a oddly shaped piece of metal- ugh. I'm gonna try and see if I can loosen it up before I give up all hope! Price: $28

Tatcha Petal Fresh Evening Aburatorigami Beauty Papers: I know a similar Tatcha product came before I subscribed but whatever. I have always heard RAVE reviews for Tatcha so I will try these blotting papers. Goodness knows I look a mess by the end of the day and could use these! Price: $12

Green Garmento 4-in-1 Reusable Dry-Cleaning Bag: Yes! I got this in Black and not some crazy color! Score! They put this in fashion but it should be in home. This will get more use from me as a hamper/laundry bag. Yes, I have those already, BUT I will be away from home for 6 weeks this summer (sad face) for work and having something like this will be a lifesaver. I guess this product was on Shark Tank and didn't get picked up so props to PopSugar for getting in on this. Ok, side note: I am all for eco-friendly, CJ and I definitely strive for that BUT a reusable dry-cleaning bag?!? How will that get used? When I pick things up at the dry cleaners they are already wrapped up and ready to go so if I brought this bag, it would just go over what they already wrapped up! And I wouldn't trust leaving the bag at the dry cleaners since there would probably be a mix-up and someone else would get it. Idk- just my thoughts. This WILL get used though- I just so happen to have the need for this product! Price: $9.99

Verdict: First off, this bag all totaled was $101.98 mainly because of the PRICEY perfume! Now, I know a  LOT of people hated this box, as in were super mad about this, and I get it. It was much more empty than usual (I'm used to around 7 products) and the garment bag and chocolate bar were throwaways to some people. I admit I have problems with this box too. The main one? That bracelet is just a mess! There are much better products out there that don't look janky. Ah well! I sort of wondered if they saved the amazing products for the latest PopSugar Must Have Limited Edition box?!? Maybe? Well, I shall try again- here's hoping there will be a great May!
