April Twistband Review

So my box wasn't all prettified because of a dumb shipping label!

This was box from the pins I received earlier this month. MUCH prettier!

Ta-da! Dumped out onto the table.

Pantone's color of the year is Emerald- I was surprised to see that since the 6-pack last month was lots of green from St. Patty's Day. This pack is themed though as in colors to go with Emerald.

Navy Metallic Headband: I'm gonna go with this being the Navy color. It is super metallic so I tried to take a close-up for a better look since it looked so reflective in shots! This makes 3 Twistband headbands for me- 2 from this sub and one from Birchbox. The Birchbox one is metallic silver so this is in the same vein. I like to use these for when I wash my face and yes, I know, not the best use, but I use them tons this way!

Seasonal Twistband 6-Pack: This is a wide range of colors for a seasonal 6-pack. I am surprised to not see a straight-up Emerald. In any case, as usual, I will use these and this will close out my giant horde of Twistbands. I am wearing one from March right now actually. My favorite is the Blue btw. Price: $10

Verdict: As always this $10/month sub pays for itself- this one came out to $14 and since I used a code when I joined, this meant I saved $6. I think I'm stocked up for a long while with these babies and am really happy with this sub. I might even re-sub in the future but for now I have really loved my 3 months!

Extra!!! Extra!! Ok, for those who are fans of mine on FB you know that Twistband had a 1/2 off sale recently. I even used it to do a mini-FB giveaway to give out stuff to three readers. I also got in the action myself and bought a set of Hair Pins. I got them earlier this month, in the same packaging as their sub, but waited until I got this month's haul to post.

I ended up getting myself the Crown set although now I want the other one. Boo. Anyway, I really just wanted the colored pins (they are bobby pins without the ridges) and omg I LOVE these. No joke. I LOVE them. I wear them all the time. I'm wearing a light blue one right now. I wear them to pull back my bangs when I "work out" or just want them out of my face. I wore the red performing and have tried almost all the colors and in weird arrangements like X's and such. I use them to offset outfits all the time!!

I highly suggest getting these at Twistband especially if you don't want to DIY them like I didn't want to- they have two sets- one with the Crown pin and one with a Skull & Crossbones pin.
