Monday Musings
The latest in my start-of-the-week musings!- I know I discussed my Fitbit last week but I gotta say how stoked I am that I hit my weekly goal last week!! Some days 10,000 steps is pretty easy and other nights were spent making loops around our complex. I can't believe how sedentary I am sometimes... My mom sent us her unused one and CJ took my black one and I got her purple one. I can't help but get a little Fitbit competitive! Anyone else have one?
- Ok, not really, I'm not quite Liz Lemon but man, sleep and I have NOT been buddies! Thanks to my Fitbit sleep tracking I saw how little I've been sleeping and gah Sunday was miserable. I slept for 2 1/2 hours on Sat night!!! For no reason- and had to wake up early to cantor 4 services in a row. Kill me. I made it through but after our walk and finishing my Fitbit goals and then I turned into a cranky monster and ended up eating some gross food. Boo.
- Did anyone else stick with The Office long enough to watch the finale? I did. The finale was sooo good. A big YES to a good series finale from a show.
- In other news, my phone keeps dying and my laptop has a whole in it. I want to Office Space my technology and get new stuff. Anyone willing to buy me a bunch of expensive products???
- What else? Oh, my foot is covered in ant bites. Score. They looked soo crazy today that my bf had to pump me full of benadryl and I slept until noon.
- Terrible pic of me with my mouth mid-sentence but whatever. This Thursday is my last Outreach "Jack & the Beanstalk" performance with my cast. Our Jack isn't staying next year and my Giant-husband may be moved to the other cast. Our last performance altogether was actually last week but this is my last performance with my "son."
- In blog AND me related news, this is my last week in TX until July. I am bummed to leave my baby (puppy) and CJ but at least I am going to a nice place! Btw if you're looking forward to ransacking my house, sorry, I'LL be gone but everyone else will still be here. I'll be gone for 6 weeks as a Apprentice Artist at Opera Saratoga. Last summer I just did Dallas Opera so I didn't have to go anywhere and it spoiled me! Since CJ and I have been together, I have spent between 3-8 weeks away from him each summer. 7 weeks in Austria, 4 weeks in Italy, 3 weeks in Italy, 8 weeks in Saratoga/CO, and now 6 weeks in Saratoga. If you've never spent 6 weeks away you don't know how badly it sucks. The worst is being away for so long from my pup. I'll still be blogging and getting my boxes shipped to me in NY but it may not be super consistent or as often. I will try my best to make it seem like I never left though!
- In box news, I have my Bulu Box and Wantable box to post on already and I know that BarkBox, Loot Crate, RocksBox and Ophelia's Apothecary have shipped! I am still on the lookout for Kona Kase and Treatsie too. Plus, I have a few that I haven't heard from yet, like who knows when GLOSSYBOX goes out. They are probably still getting people with their deal for their 1-year anniversary.
- Speaking of DEALS!! I hope my codes page is working out for everyone- I'll try and stay on top of it!!
- Also, I have a mega amount of boxes to add to my list- sorry I've been so behind. I'm trying to learn music like a madwomen!!
- I have my next Giveaway lined up, BUT have a little FB giveaway I am gonna do on the side, so keep on the look-out!
- Also, if you have e-mailed me about a GRAZE code check your e-mail!!!

I'll be in Saratoga for two weeks in June :) I used to live there, if you have time try and get lunch at Putnam Market one day. AMAZING. Also Roma's makes a mean sub. Mmmm. I love eating.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Putnam Market. I was actually a Studio Artist two year ago with Opera Saratoga (a step down from what I'm doing this year) and the place we lived was really close to main street so I spent a lot of time reading in the park and such. Don't remember Roma's though- need to get on that!!!
DeleteAh! So you know the area! Roma's is a little Italian Grocery. It's out on Washington St, a little bit out of town, but not too far. Pope's pizza is near there too which is delicious NY style thin crust. Mmmm.
