May Treatsie Review + Giveaway

My second Treatsie box came and ooo boy was it good. I liked my first month-which I won!- but I LOVED this box!

Treatsie:
Type: Food Box
Cost: $15/month
What is it?: This brand new candy- think bon bons- subscription company features artisan chocolates with a technological flair. When you open up your box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get (I had to-sorry). How do you not know? No info card or top of the box explaining what's inside. Instead you look up the treats online or on their app and find out all kinds of things about your treats. Sign up now to be alerted to the next round of memberships. "The Couture Candy of the Month Club."

I wasn't planning on taking a pic of the envelope but I loved what I saw when I peeked inside! Cold packs! I was wondering what they were going to do in the summer months since even when it isn't chocolate you are gonna get some HOT candy!

Plastic wrap sealed and two keep-em-cold buddies for the trip!

The box!
I love the quote: Like likes a box of chocolates. Hehe.

First look. I LOVE their design btw.

The info card.

Treatsie is soo different in that they don't send out info on your treats, you have to go online to look them up and there is TONS of info about each product!

TREATS!!

The Caramel House- Naked Turtle Caramel, Vanilla Caramel, and Beer & Pretzel Caramel: I LOVE caramels so I didn't even wait to look these up and split one immediately with CJ. It was the beer & caramel one that has a wafer of pretzel in the middle- craziness. The flavor was amazing!!! The beer wasn't noticeable except it tasted gooood!! The others? Phenomenal! I'm a sucker for a plain vanilla caramel but all three were excellent. CJ and I have to say these are some of the best caramels ever. Yes, EVER!! Sooo good. I really want to try the Cookie and Caramel variety- since it sounds amazing. Yeah, I'm blabbing now but these were great. Price: $5

Loblolly Creamery Honey Vanilla Bean Marshmallows: Last month's marshmallows were my fav part of the box so I was excited to see even more homemade mallow-ness. Uh- heavenly. CJ and I LOVED these and they are made with the best ingredients! Pure cane sugar, local wildflower honey, sea salt, Madagascar vanilla beans. Hmm. We should have saved some for s'mores!
Price: No idea! I'll guess $4-$5

nutwhats- cashew coconut scribble: What the what are nutwhats? Haha, I'm clever. Really though, I had no idea what to expect from these. Well, their motto is "twistedly addictive confections." Woah- are they right? These were amazing! I didn't think I'd love it (coconut) but it's just out of this world. CJ and I couldn't get enough of these- we tried to hold back but they are just so good! Price: ~$6

nutwhats- pecan scribble: Same deal as above, so good. I really can't pick a fav since they were both amazing but I might lean towards to pecan scribble. I WISH these were available to buy online but the individual bags aren't... yet! I really can't get across how good these were! Price: ~$6

Verdict: It's SOOO hard to price these since SOMEHOW Treatsie finds these amazing treats in little shops around the country but I estimated around $21 for this $15 box. The marshmallows are not available online (lucky Little Rock folks) and the nutwhats are available as gift boxes and in bulk online only right now so really the best way to get 'em is by subscribing to Treatsie! I'll say it again but I obviously loved this box of treats!

How much did I love it? I contacted Treatsie (since they are amazing and do giveaways too-I mean I won one last month!) and asked if they would give a box to a reader and... they are!!!

That's right, a free month of this amazing box of wonderfulness for free!
