April Treatsie Review

My April Treatsie box came!! Yes, it DID arrive in May!! The reason? I WON this box! I actually won a giveaway- woot woot! One reason I try to as many giveaways as I can is because I never win anything and I think everyone should! Well, I can't say that anymore since I won this awesome box of treats! Every subscriber is open to win a box so check it out!

Check out my latest Giveaway!

Treatsie:
Type: Food Box
Cost: $15/month
What is it?: This brand new candy- think bon bons- subscription company features artisan chocolates with a technological flair. When you open up your box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get (I had to-sorry). How do you not know? No info card or top of the box explaining what's inside. Instead you look up the treats online or on their app and find out all kinds of things about your treats. Sign up now to be alerted to the next round of memberships. "The Couture Candy of the Month Club"

A bit of background, this JUST-launched subscription box is actually a Kickstarter funded project! Kickstarter + subscription box + sweets? Sounds like the best combination EVER!! April boxes just went out to Kickstarter funders (I discovered this box post Kickstarter campaign) and to one lucky giveaway winner... Me! They opened up subscriptions (that start in May) for people who signed up to be on their e-mail list and I signed up right away! Available subscriptions are closed but you can sign up for the waitlist when more subscriptions are available. However, announced today (at least I got the e-mail today) they are offering these Mother's Day Gift subscriptions! Head on over to sign up now! Ok, on to the treats!

Treatsie is cool in how you look up info and such online- you can see as much or as little info as you want!

Ta-da!!

Here's my stuff all laid out!!

Helliemae- Classic Salt Caramel: This is one of three varieties of Helliemae's caramels that I got. This was really intense for me but turned out to be CJ's favorite.

Helliemae- Coffee Caramels: This bag had 4 caramels to try too. I don't do coffee in any form but I surprisingly liked these. Not too strong or anything!

Helliemae- Sy's PB&C: This Peanut Butter & Caramel variety was sooo good. Definitely my fav of these super intense caramels. No wonder these are almost all gone on their site!

Katherine Anne- Salted Caramel & Stout Marshmallows: Woah, these were soo good. Organic sugar and real vanilla make these super, super good!!! My fav was the salted caramel! Pillowy is the best description ever for these! I want to try their truffles now and get more marshmallows- would be perfect in some cocoa!

Lune Chocolate- Ice Cube, Elderberry Pancake, Hot Kiss, & Espresso Chocolates: What a crazy variety of handmade dark chocolates. My fav was ice cube. These were gorgeous and were pretty cool flavors. Not my fav chocolates (I prefer milk) mainly because of the espresso one but I really liked trying the eclectic tastes.

Verdict: I didn't price these since it's sooo hard doing the individual prices on candies! I think it's worth the $15/month since these are all products I would never find elsewhere and there was a large quantity of products. I mean there were 12 caramels, 4 chocolates, and two marshmallows. This pic was taken from their site. You can click on each product to read more about that product AND the company. Videos are even provided. Too cool! Definitely looking forward to my May box!!!

Disclaimer: I paid nothing for this box since I won it! Again, awesome.
