April Bespoke Post Review

Sorry for the LATE April box post!! I was so excited to try Bespoke Post or I should say, get another box for my boy that he would actually enjoy!! I bought a Groupon for Bespoke Post when they were available- just to try a month and I completely forgot I did. I finally remembered and when we looked through April's boxes (they offer a variety of boxes- in April I think it was 3) there was the most perfect one EVER for CJ!!!

Be sure to check out my latest Giveaway!

CJ kept asking to open the Box of Awesome while it lay sitting in our house. I love that he thought that was the name of the box. Not a bad name...

Ta-da! Super well packed box!

We got the 'Cue box. That's right all BBQ themed! CJ LOVES to BBQ so this was perfect for him! He does the full out charcoal cooking along with planks and tools and rubs and deliciousness. Did I mention this was perfect?

Food Should Taste Good- Chips in Blue Corn & Jalapeno: Obviously a great brand name! Food SHOULD taste good! Chips are the perfect pairing to BBQ so I love that they included these. I haven't tried this brand before but I love a good blue corn chip. Price: $7.78 ($3.89/bag)

Whole Spice- Morocan Harissa Seasoning, Chimichurry Dry Seasoning, and Chipotle & Honey Rub: That was a mouth full. Talk about a variety of delicious rubs/seasonings for some good 'cue!! They smell SUPER fantastic and we can't wait to use them. They are very different flavors too which excited us even more. Props to Bespoke Post for these cool spices! Price: $7.50 + $8.50 + $6 = $22

Salt Traders Parameswaran Wynad- Special Wynad Peppercorns: Woah- this pepper is amazing. It smells great and is by far the freshest pepper we've ever had!! I'm serious, this was amazing. We 'cued it up (by we I mean CJ) and put this on some chicken and it added SO much. CJ is in love with product.
Price: $9.50

TruBee Honey- Summer Wildflower Honey: This honey is raw and unpasteurized which is how honey SHOULD be! It is the craziest looking honey and I am digging it. This honey tastes really great and is runnier than I expected which was nice too. This will be great in a BBQ sauce. CJ's last homemade batch is gone and he used Honey instead of molasses and it was soooo good! This brand is all about keeping bees and beekeepers out there and the ingredients are wildflowers, clover, thistle, cotton and other stuff that their free-range bees can get into! Price: $9.33

Outdoor Gourmet- Alder, Hickory, and Cedar Planks: These were the diamonds in this box. In a box of awesome, this may be the most awesomest (really good grammar there). We were so excited for these! We used a cedar plank for some smoked salmon recently and I died from the deliciousness. I wish we could do the plank thing everytime! You are getting the great smoked wood flavor and it is sooo good. These look as gourmet as the name implies and we're stoked to use these asap! They sell Cherry, Red Oak, and Maple too! Price: $11.24

Sir Kensington- Gourmet Scooping Ketchup: I love this proper ketchup! It's so fancy- I mean he has a monocle- how much fancier can you get? Every BBQ needs great condiments! During the move we threw out a bunch of fridge stuff and when we had people over a few weeks ago for some BBQ we realized we didn't have ketchup! Craziness! Thanks to Bespoke Post for stocking us with some high-class ketchup!
Price: $7

Tin Mustard: I'm not a mustard person and this mustard even looks good to me! CJ has been wanting to dig in to this so I expect some burgers soon or some kind of mustard rub. I mean look at that jar- you can SEE the mustard seeds! This is called the "caviar of mustard." So shove it, grey poupon! Price: $7

Verdict: So this was the review that would never end! I can't believe how much stuff was in this box!!! Again, this stuff was all up CJ's alley and heads up 'Cue is one of the three available boxes this month at Bespoke Post!! Altogether this box was valued at $73.85!!! They also put BBQ tips and more on their site which is a nice touch. I got this box at a discounted rate but I am staying a subscriber since I loved getting this for CJ! He loved it and I love the options between boxes and you CAN skip. I actually missed out on skipping/picking for May but it turns out we are getting the best box for CJ for May. Awesomeness! I totally recommend Bespoke Post and even though it's pricier than some at $45, you are getting soooo much awesome stuff.
