It's finally GLOSSYBOX time for me!! It must be because of my date of purchase but I tend to get this box way after everyone else! I think mine finally came on April 29th or 30th. Something like that. I knew what was in the box but it's always so different to see the products in person!

This month the GLOSSYBOX mag was online instead of printed out. I'm ALL for eco-friendly but I have to admit I didn't really read it since it was online, I kind of flipped through but that's it. I'm ashamed by this but it's the truth.

Le Métier de Beauté- Replenishing Daily Solution: This is a GLOSSYBOX Member Exclusive. I'm all about exclusives! That being said, I don't care for foil samples. I'll try it but that's about it. This came with a $75 gift if you purchase this product though so maybe I will love it but it's a whopping $225 though for less than 2 oz so I doubt it- I guffawed when I saw the price/size. Yes, guffawed. Talk about a luxurious sample!!! Price: $13.24

Alterna Haircare- Bamboo Style Boho Waves Tousled Texture Mist: An Alterna product was one of GLOSSYBOX's spoilers but I didn't know what the product would be. This is a very "summer" product. It gives you the "just-back-from-the-beach" look. I will DEFINITELY be trying this. I want to play with my hair styling more and anything that is easy and pretty is a go for me! Price: $4.45
TIGI Cosmetics- Glow Blush: This was GLOSSYBOX's BIG spoiler! A FULL SIZE TIGI Blush! Too cool. I've never had a blush like this, I mean the rounded top! Look in the bottom middle pic- see how it's domed- really interesting. I like the color on although it's a little powdery in application. The problem lies in the dome- it gets a bit everywhere BUT it really looks great on and is supposed to be beautiful for ALL skin tones! Price: $22
The Honest Company- Honest Organic Lip Balm: I LOVE that GLOSSYBOX is pairing with The Honest Company! I got my first bundle last month and am getting bi-monthly ones now. Their lip balms were in my next bundle and after getting this one I am so excited to get more. I have this Sweet Orange Vanilla one on right now! This may beat out my Blistex for my go-to chapstick. I wear lipsticks/tints/glosses a lot but everyone needs an excellent lip balm and woah this one is sooooo good! Seriously, I would recommend signing up at The Honest Company JUST for this chapstick. Price: $3.65
Wash With Joe- Coffeemint Invigorating Body Wash: How weird does this sound?Coffee + mint + bodywash? So strange. This is supposed to revitalize and balance your body and mind while getting you squeaky clean. I'm sold. Seriously, this sounds amazing! Price: $1.75
BVLGARI- Eau Parfumeé au thé Blanc Tea Bag for the Bath: Another what?? product. I'm loving the craziness of this month's box! One- I have never tried anything from bvlgari because- sooo expensive. Two- a tea bag for the bath? I guess I will try all sorts of new bathtime stuff (Hammock Pack Shower burst previously). I'm sooo excited for this!! Price: $9.50
Verdict: This $21 box ended up being worth $54.59!!! There were three full-size products, two deluxe samples, and a tiny luxurious sample that is worth an arm and a leg. Score! I know this is only my second GLOSSYBOX but it's been my favorite thus far. I thought I'd be bummed for the lack of straight up makeup but it fit the theme and the products are really cool and really original. I am in love with the lip balm from The Honest Company, I love the TIGI blush, and am so excited to try everything else, especially the bath tea bag and the coffeemint body wash!! ReplyDeleteI understand. It's hard to see but it IS a full-size premium blush. That alone pays for the box- which is pretty nifty. I really liked this month's stuff though and I know some people wouldn't like so much "body" stuff.

ReplyDeleteTerrible but right after I posted I thought-oops- didn't put the shade and then forgot all about it! I didn't bring that blush with me (I'm out of two for 6 weeks) but I am pretty sure it is Awaken.
