Monday Musings
Man- last week went by so fast! I can't believe it's already Monday again... Some thoughts to get the week started:- Last week was a mess with CJ's car problems- ending with finally getting his car back on Thursday, then having puppy have blood in his poo- going to the pet hospital- finding out he has giardia, then getting a massive burn on my hand immediately after bringing puppy home.
- Puppy has probably been sick awhile without us knowing and he got it from the *^(!!&^%^$ neighbors who feed feral cats that throw up, have diarrhea, bleed etc on our porch. Yes- that happens. They are crazy and would call security on us when we were doing the dishes or WALKING in our home. We are the SECOND tenants that these neighbors have chased off with their craziness. Yes, chased off. Because of the awfulness, our complex is letting us break our lease and move. What awfulness? The neighbors have been told they can't bang on the walls/ceiling or repeatedly slam doors when they think we are loud (maintenance and security have checked- we are NOT making noise), they can no longer call Smith (our security) on us, and were told to stop feeding the feral cats (they hide it in the bushes and porch now). Anyway, the complex is trying to evict them and tenants can trap the cats themselves but they can't do it themselves (???) but with the health risk now they offered to get rid of our stress! So fingers crossed that today we can sign the new lease and break our current one with no fees and we will move TOMORROW- craziness!
-We stress about the neighbors constantly and the situation is awful on our dog too. Think about multiple strangers coming in during the day- pounding on the walls- cats outside the front door all the time- and now getting a parasite- yeah, he will be better. So, we are hoping this propels us to a fresh start all around! Less stress, bigger place, new diet, new exercise regime, new attempt to organize, etc. etc.
- My blog has had an overhaul! Still stuff to work on but I'm so excited- I HATED my old layout- sounds dumb, but eww, that font. Next up is tweaking, a couple new tabs to help navigate: codes/coupons and reviews, and then hoping to figure out how to make a bit of money on this! My hope is to make enough to pay for my giveaways- all un-sponsored giveaways are out of my own pocket right now!
- I am hoping to start going through my sub list to edit soon! I'm sorry if I have spelling/typing errors, but that list took so long, I didn't have time to edit. I really hate terrible grammar/spelling/syntax errors so I need to get on that. Admittedly, I unfollowed a blog on bloglovin' just because of terrible syntax. People: You can't start every sentence with "however" or "though," they don't always apply to what you are saying.
- I love my readers. Seriously, I wish I could thank you personally when you use me as a referral! I know that would be border-line creepy so I don't message you, but I almost screamed with delight when I got an e-mail saying someone signed up with BarkBox with my referral. Made my day! So thank you for all the referrals- I've been referred with several boxes/sites which helps me keep reviewing and I couldn't be more thankful!
- Again, I hopefully will be moving tomorrow! That means one day to prepare to move and more importantly, one day to change shipping on everything! I anticipate walking to my old/current apartment over the next week or two to check my doorstep for boxes before the forwarding/shipping changes take effect.
- TheFancy has a new code 25OFF6 for $25 off! Should I get the Tyler Florence box or mustache straws- yes that would be my other choice.
- Also PopSugar Must Have's promotion ends this Wednesday! I used a $10 off promo code when I signed up back in October and that is the last time I saw a $10 off code so know that they are few and far between! GET$10 for $10 off a 3 month sub and GET$25 for $25 off a 6 month sub.
- IndieSpensable, Hammock Pack, Pink Beryl, GlossyBox, and Rocks Box are all coming soon. I also have 5 reviews to post. And those wondering how moving will work into this- I wrote a bunch of posts last night!

I know what you mean. I had someone sign up with Julep today and she works where I'm getting my (second graduate uggggh) degree. But I decided against it because it would be creeeeepeeeee. I wish they wouldn't tell us the identity at all because it's sort of weird.
