March Wantable co. Review
Woot- my second month of Wantable! I love love loved my first month back in February and immediately became a subscriber. March was a special month though since you could pick between the Robert Jones Pop Box or a box based on your profile/style quiz. It took me forever to decide but decided the March Pop Box looked too good to miss! So, without further delay, my March box!Win your very own Wantable.co box in my giveaway here!
Type: Beauty Box
Cost: $36/month includes shipping ($40 box w/o subscription)
What is it?: Like other boxes, this subscription sends out 4-6 items each month but unlike others the 4-6 items are all FULL-SIZE. These top-quality products are curated by professional makeup artists and hair stylists and are selected for you based on your personal style profile. Application advice on each product is included and with 100% satisfaction guaranteed motto they include free shipping AND free returns.
Last month my box got a little banged up in transit so it was nice to see a nice, clean, purple box this time!
This is a terrible picture (just like last month-boo) but I LOVE the box design so that when you open up the top there is a peep-hole with the card that says "Thank You." I think it is adorable.
My first look had info cards AND a sample- more on that later.
I received three cards this month on top of my info sheets with the products/pricing/how to apply/why RJ picked this product and return labels (don't need those). The first is an update for the company (now you can rate things you love on the style quiz), the next is a extra how-to for one of the products and the last is all about the Robert Jones box! I should say that on top of that how-to card, wantable also sent an e-mail out to subscribers when tutorials were posted online! Awesome.
29 Cosmetics Skin Care Samples: Since this was an "extra" I will put it first before the rest of the box. I am always for trying new lotions/serums/etc. so I will give these a try. I love that they sent out trials on the whole collection! I hate getting samples that say, "Best used with ____" but only provide the one product. I will definitely try all 4 samples.

Ok, so before I get to the products let me explain my hesitation with choosing this box. I had heard GREAT things but looking at the products I had two concerns. 1) The blush in the picture looks so similar to the color I got last month (different brand though) and I LOVE the blush but I don't want thirty blushes that are all the same color. 2) I am loving gel liner now that I have been converted by Ipsy but do I need another one? Well, I choose to get this box and wow, money well spent!
Some first look shots! It was all perfectly packed in the box and I loved all the individual brands' packaging too.
Color Club Nail Polish in He Love Mes: Last month, I got a full-size color club polish too but of a completely different color! I actually wear pink polish a lot- especially lighter pinks since I can get away with wearing those while I am doing outreach shows and such. I love that this color isn't too bright or too pale- I am so excited to try it out! Price: $8
Cailyn Cosmetics Black Gel Eyeliner: This liner is genius. Again, I have become a gel eyeliner convert and wear it daily (sorry, smudge stick). I use an angled brush but wanted a smaller eyeliner brush too and what do you know? This gel pot came with just that kind of brush! I thought I would use the brush to fill in or do my lower lining but it works great at lining my whole eye! I was nervous since usually provided brushes are no good (think of those eyeshadow brushes that come in palettes or tiny, terrible blush brushes) but this works great! The formula for this liner is amazing too! No smudge, no smears! While I wish it was a tad darker, the fluidity is amazing! It goes on sooo easy! How much do I love this? Well, I am wearing it right now. Price: $21
29 Cosmetics Lip Gloss in Napa Sunset Dew: The color in wantable.co's ad is deceiving! The color in my pics is closer to the real thing and it is beautiful! Do you need a lipgloss that isn't sticky? Have you ever heard of such a thing? This lipgloss feels amazing while adding color and shine. It's crazy since I wanted a new lipgloss and voila- a new perfect lipgloss. All the cards of the table: smooch test had my bf saying he said it still has a sticky feel (he HATES when I wear lipgloss) but as the one wearing it I thought it felt amazing. I got this box last week and have worn this every day since. I am in love- I'd never heard of this brand before and now knowing how much I love this, I want to snatch all their stuff up! Price: $24 (woah!)
Darla Makeup's Eye Shadow in Betty Jane: This was the only item I hadn't paid much attention to before getting the box and I'm afraid it might get the same treatment now that I have it. While I wore this on St. Patrick's Day, I just have a hard time working this color into my makeup. It luckily goes on lightly so I may be able to find a way to incorporate it. Honestly, I was so excited about the rest, this product fell by the wayside- sorry middle child! Price: $18
Manna Kadar Blush in High Five: It's a bit tough to tell in these pictures but this blush isn't like my last month's one at all! It has coral hint and peach tones and I love it! I've worn it several times already and it looks great! It's a blush color that looks great on everybody which shows Robert Jones' talent! Price: $19
Verdict: This box is valued at a whopping $90!!! Well worth is considering I only spent $36 on the box. The lipgloss alone sold me on the box and add on a stellar eyeliner and the box is already paid for and you are saving money! This is my all-time favorite makeup subscription box which is hard to say after only two months but there is nothing out there offering such amazing products- full-size products- as such an amazing deal! Take the style profile and you will be amazed! Check it out for yourself at wantable.co.
Thanks Laura, we love it!! Your product shots are so awesome too :)
