March TheFancy Box Review

My TheFancy box came this past week! I was nervous since the previous month's box had some disappointments. I LOVED my food sub box from them this month though so that gave me some hope! I had seen a lot of different boxes and had an idea of what I was getting this month- enough chatter- let's see what I got!

*TheFancy:
Type: Lifestyle Box
Cost: $39+$2.95/month for regular box
What is it?: For those who don't know, TheFancy is like pinterest but for products especially cool and amazing items. When you sign up you choose 3 categories from Men's, Women's, Kids, Pets, Home, Gadgets, Media, Sports & Outdoors, and Workspace. You then receive an array of some of the cool items that are on the site. I subscribe to Home, Gadgets, and Workspace. The worth is well beyond the $30 it costs and you receive amazing products!  TheFancy also pairs with celebrities to make special curated boxes. Check it out. Use my referral code to sign up for TheFancy- sign up is free it's like Pinterest. Right now use code 25OFF5 for $25 anything on TheFancy.

I got the usual giant box- the unboxing never shows anything though- you really have to dig in to see what you got.

Info cards: I was mega-bummed at first when I pulled these out of the envelope. Where are the rest of the cards? Was this a mistake? Nope! Only 4 items in this box- I had 6 in both of my other two boxes (although 1 in Feb was a repeat) and hadn't seen anyone only get 4 in the regular sub box. Boo. Won't let that get me down yet though!

This was an extra- $10 to Shoptiques. The packaging was cool. I had never heard of Shoptiques though so I don't know if this will go to any use.

Pilot & Captain Tee Shirt- London: I had seen this shirt in a bunch of other boxes but figured it was in the another category. Guess it qualifies as home?? Idk. I do know that I hate that they give you clothes when you don't specify gender or clothing size. Ugh. This shirt is a large and fits the bf ok (maybe a little small)- This shirt seems unisex since a lot of women got it but it really looks like a men's shirt- I know a version of this also went into the Ashton Kutcher box. Price: $32

Clocky Rolling Runaway Alarm Clock: I had seen this in another person's box who also picked "gadgets" so this wasn't a big surprise. When Tockys or Clockys came out I REALLY wanted one but they can cost up to $90 so I never bought one. I was excited to see this in the box but so scared I got the pink one- phew- it's black. Henry HATES this- he has barked and barked and barked at it. I still want to give it a try though since I am the WORST morning person ever. Henry barking at it maybe just means it will really work... Price: $40

Crumb Casket's Broom Groomer Mini: I think I saw this product in another box too (ya there was nothing in this box I didn't already know) but didn't look at it too much. This crumb casket must be the "workspace" product since there isn't anything else that fits although from the actual info it should be for "home"- uhh- this was the least exciting product in the box. It's pretty large so it doesn't seem worth it to put on your desk. CJ definitely eats at his desk though so we shall see if he actually uses it. If not it could be useful on the kitchen counters. Price: $15

Citrus Zinger Water Bottle: I saw this in practically every box I saw and so it must be for "Home." While I wish I hadn't known everything in my box beforehand, I was excited for this product. I had Fancy'd this product a long time ago and had considering using their last coupon code on buying this. I'm glad I waited since I got it in this box! I really wanted an infuser bottle or this bottle since I love lemon water and I can't wait to start using this! Price: $15

Verdict: This box of only four items is worth $102. Craziness! I was feeling so-so about this box at first glance but am happy with at least half of the items: the clock and the water bottle. Those two products alone pay for the value of the box. If we end up using the other two items then this box will be waaayyy worth what it costs. Really hoping next month there will be NO clothing! Go sign up for TheFancy here to check out all their cool stuff and if you decide to buy any sub or product use the code 25OFF5 for $25- I used mine today to re-sub the Food Box!

  1. Ive read about Shoptique before!! It's really cool. The site works with boutiques around the world so you can buy something that's in some Paris boutique. It was started by a woman who liked boutique shopping because you get one of a kind items as opposed to shopping at a department store!

    1. Thanks for the info! Sometimes I can't commit to a company until I actually hear someone else say good things about it!

  2. I would be sad if I paid for this box. XD I've been looking at the Fancy and it seems the only good ones are the stuff with edibles in them. I saw the Tyler Florence box and subbed to that because his Twitter said cooking tools and food~ I hope it is good!
