I Wish Wednesday

After finishing up my Mega sub list (which I still update all the time so finish might not be the best word...), I was bummed to realize I don't get any of the Eco boxes!! I try to be eco-friendly and continue to take steps towards doing what I can for our home aka Earth so it seemed weird to not get any of these boxes.

That being said, I think my I Wish Wednesday is actually... I wish I got all the Eco boxes!! Ok- that is a reeeaaallly big stretch. I do want to try them all and see what fits me but for now let's just pick one!

I wish I could get The Homegrown Collective's Green Box!

Homegrown Collective Green Box:
Type: Eco Box
Cost: $39/month + $9 shipping
What is it?: From their website: "Each GREEN BOX is professionally and seasonally curated to help you get the most out of  growing at home and helps you "greenify" your every day in the most satisfying ways. Each month you will get a blend of seasonally appropriate, professionally curated and exclusive consumer items. We like items that are unique, useful,  practical and exciting. Each product will reflect the season you receive it. One month you may receive the ingredients for a home-brewed hard cider to add you your Holiday season. Another month's box may include the missing items to make a secret Native American cold remedy just in time for flu season."

I really love this box! They send out themed boxes with a large variety of products. A lot of it is make-your-own which really is eco-friendly, since there's no factory in my house!

Homegrown Collective has products you just don't find anywhere else. I mean what other box would send out a Mushroom Growing Kit?

Remember how I said each box is themed? Well this past box was "Honey" themed and included Beeswax to make lip balm, honey (of course), bee pollen (which is great for people with allergies), etc. etc. Super clever and a great theme considering it is March and the start of Spring.

I would definitely say that is this one of the most unique eco boxes on the market and maybe even one of the most unique boxes out of all the subscription boxes! I would love to try it especially since there are so many new products that I haven't tried and some projects/products that would definitely take me out of my comfort zone...

But...

At $48/month this is the most expensive eco box and without a discount my bank account can't handle it... at least not now!

I do think this is a really cool, interesting, good-for-the-planet box and will hopefully someday try it! If you have some moolah to spend check this box out!
