PopSugar Must Have February Review

My February PopSugar Must Have box came this morning! It has been in Dallas since Wednesday and I was positive it would be a V-day present to myself... not so much but still, it came! I was excited because even though I tried to avoid spoilers I knew what was in this box and was actually excited! PopSugar's box was one of the first subscriptions I got into as the boxes I had seen (Sept especially) were amazing and then after I subscribed and was waiting until Nov (when they had availability) the Oct box was amazing too! Then I got November-meh, December- double meh considering it was the holiday season, then January- ok but nothing to be stoked about... I was losing faith! Where was a box like the amazing September box?

February was gonna be my last box unless they could show a turn-around... So... here it is!

*PopSugar Must Have:
Type: Lifestyle Box
Cost: $35/month includes shipping
What is it?: Each month hand-selected products are delivered featuring must-have beauty, fitness, fashion, food, and home items. Each box delivers full-size and premium items worth over $100. Boxes introduce clientele to new brands as well as old favorites and deliver a variety of products each month. Use my referral code to help get me a free box and use promo code REFERFRIENDS to save $5 on your first box.

The usual Enjoy! with pink wrapping and info booklet. I didn't take pics of it since it is lengthy! But it is info-tastic.

Woah- it is packed full this time! And not just for a giant box! I guess I was eager to get into the products since the left product is already lifted up. I also didn't take a pic of all the goodies propped up all nicely in the box! I don't know why- guess I was the super eager beaver today!

Must Have Food & Special Extra: I grouped these things together since it felt weird taking an individual picture of the Sweethearts Conversation Hearts which were the special extra this month. Price: $0.66

The Must Have Food came from Mariebelle New York in the form of their Tresor box! There were several varieties sent out and I was hoping for some milk chocolate but got the dark chocolate pearls. Still better than nibs in my opinion- did not want the nibs. These were yummy- I just poured a ton of them in my mouth all at once. I have no self-control. Also loved the super cute box. Price: $12

Must Have Fashion: Ok, I was pretty hesitant about this (I'll explain why- give me a sec) but I had to give PopSugar major props for bringing back a Brokedown product! This is a wrap made by Brokedown clothing- the same people who made the gorgeous $85 scarves that were sent out in the Sept boxes- aka the same people who made the most famous/desired product of PopSugar Must Have boxes. This wrap is exclusively being launched by PopSugar and looks sooo cozy. And it definitely is high quality.
So what's my deal? Why not dive into happiness over this item? Umm- for those who do not know me in the real world I am 5'11"- ya you read that right- 5'11"- and yes my legs are crazy long but I have height in my torso too. So when I saw a one size fits all wrap I couldn't help but think-ya right. I kinda wrapped it around me with clothes and it hit a bit high to say the least- hmm... still looks cozy so maybe it will be for skeezy days alone at home with the curtains closed. Price: $84

Must Have Fashion #2: Two fashion items this month and they are both awesome! I was so excited to see a Hanky Panky thong included this month. I've always wanted to have one since everyone raves they are the best but they are too pricey for me to try something for the first time.  I am SO happy I got it in purple!!! The pic for some reason semi-distorted the color- it is more purple-y in person. All different colors went out and so I was excited to see my favorite color. This is a super win for PopSugar for me.They also included a 15% off coupon at Hanky Panky AND a free polish with any order. Price: $20

Must Have Entertainment: Nicholas Sparks... Uh- I've never read his stuff- I did love the movies "A Walk to Remember" and "The Notebook" though... in high school/middle school... This isn't my style- BUT and this is a big BUT! I was stoked to see a Must Have Entertainment section again since they haven't really had anything since I subscribed. They have sent out The perks of being a wallflower (with movie tix btw) and The Causal Vacancy which to me are on a way different level than Safe Haven but this shows a big turnaround for PopSugar. I may read this- or give it away- or both- I don't know yet. They also included a bookmark with a song download of "The Journey" from the film. Price: $10.59

Must Have Home: I can't believe I don't own my own Jewelry Cleanser! I have a jewelry cleaning cloth... somewhere... but that's it. I will definitely use this Quick Jewelry Cleanser from Connoisseurs. I wear a ring everyday so you bet that is a bit grimey. Price: ~$4

Must Have Beauty: I love lipstains that are like crayons. I have a whole set from Tarte which are a-ma-zing! I have no qualms with this Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain. I got this one in Crush and I will definitely give it a go. I LOVE trying new lip-colors. It is so fun. Price: $7.49

Verdict: This $35 box had $138.74 worth of stuff!! I mean the Fashion section was worth $104 alone! I SUPER loved the Fashion section (even if the wrap is too short)- I love the Hanky Panky thong and soft wrap. I love the direction PopSugar is headed back to with the entertainment and beauty- plus the food/treats were a nice touch. Excellent box this month!

  2. So PopSugar isn't the normal sample-size subscription box right? Does it always have full-size items like this?

    1. Right. It's a bunch of must have items. Beauty boxes do usually do sample size but this is more of a lifestyle box.you can check their previous boxes too to see what they have given. There have been books, clothes, jewelry, food, houseware, etc! I love where they are going again!!
