So sorry for this super late I wish Wednesday! With all the additions to my subscription list and recent unboxing I am still in a subscription box state of mind so...

I wish... I had Julibox but... I can't justify ordering a box right now.


Julibox is an amazing box that I discovered months ago and have wanted ever since- mainly to buy as a gift for my boyfriend!

This service sends you curated cocktail ingredients and recipes straight to your door. That means adorable mini bottles of alcohol (think mini bar) mini bitters, mini juices, mini mixers, mini tonics, even dried ingredients plus how to combine them together. This swanky, sophisticated box can introduce you to new cocktails and products or just encourage the mixing enthusiast.



Each month you get 2 cocktails to put together (you provide the ice and the glass) and you have enough to make 2 of each- 4 cocktails in sum. That's a nice little nightcap with a friend of loved one. Every once in awhile when a lemon or lime is needed aka something fresh they e-mail you before your box comes so you can stock up.

So I love this for a million reasons. The website and service have a great old-timey feel which is so fun. I love the mini everything. I love finding new cocktails/drinks. I love that you not only get to taste classic and new cocktails but you learn how to make them and make them well. And I love how PERFECT this would be for my boyfriend!!

Last Christmas (by last I actually mean 2011) I bought my bf a book about using bitters plus a full set of 12 Fee Brothers bitters plus a bottle each of Angostura, Peychauds, and Regans Orange Bitters. For those non-mixologists that is over $150 in bitters or flavor-inhancers for drinks! He has brewed mead and beer in the past and has his own tiny keg of whiskey he is making right now. We also have gone to beer festivals and love going to distillery and brewery tours. We actually don't drink very often but when we do- we go classy!

That being said, Julibox was we great for us... but at $40/box it isn't in our budget right now- hoping to get in on a box someday and maybe change some subscriptions around to give this one a go!
