What is it?: Becoming a Julep Maven gives you access to all their products for 20% off as well as being part of their rewards program which earns you FREE boxes and products. To begin, you take a style quiz to determine you Julep Maven Style and your first box will be a welcome box. Each month you are sent the month's theme colors and products in the 4 beauty profiles and have the option to choose your assigned box or any other one available. You also have the option to skip any month- this may be the BEST feature at Julep. Julep also offers add-ons each month for extremely discounted rates as well as random/surprise bags/boxes all the time. First up, Oxygen Nail Treatment and Freedom Top Coat!! I am so excited for this Nail Treatment! My nails have become a bit brittle and flaky from going crazy painting and re-painting my nails and I can't wait to give this a go! Price: $18
The Freedom Top Coat is a super plus in this box! It is an extra in all February boxes this month and I am stoked to try it. This Top Coat give you a gel-manicure look without the gel mani cost and issues. I've never tried gel (cost etc) so I am ready to see how I feel about this look! Price: $18

Ahh! I love Julep- there are always adorable and amazing surprises in each box! Two delicious chocolate hearts inside AND an eyelash curler. I love Julep- they are constantly giving, giving, giving to their customers! I am always 100% satisfied! Price:?? $6??

I also ordered an extra product this month as an add-on, thus the second box. Every month when you order the monthly box you can add-on up to three items for a super cheap price. This month I decided to take advantage of this and ordered on product: the hand and cuticle stick. I wanted to try this after seeing all the mixed reviews. I figured I gotta try it for myself! This glue-stick like product is really interesting and I am excited to see what it does for my cuticles!
Verdict: Even without the extras a non-maven would pay $64 for this box! And $70 with the extras!! At maven prices it is still a whopping $57.20 (with extras)!!! This box is well worth the $19.99 I paid for it and even if the box's value was $20 it would still be worth it! The products and surprises of each box are amazing- I can never see myself giving up this box... although I do skip months when the cashflow is extra low.
