July Loot Crate Review
Alright, it's FINALLY Loot Crate time! This is my boyfriend's fav box so you can guess his sadness as July was turning the corner and we hadn't received the box yet. Due to an accident with the postman (our address is NOT undeliverable- I swear, we don't live in an apartment so stop saying we were missing the apartment number) we had to contact Loot Crate for another box to be sent! It came and it's time to review!

Video Game High School- Season One on DVD: Let's start with the main stuff, shall we? This crate's them was VGHS for Video Game High School. This online series has quite a following and I know I added it to Netflix quite a few months ago since I thought it'd be great for CJ. We haven't watched it yet (yes, it's on Netflix and YouTube) but hoping it's good since we have the DVD now AND Season 2 starts soon! Price: $5.99
Jazwares + Lucasfilms Ltd.- C3PO Star Wars Earbuds: Yes! We got C3PO! Since we waited so long to get July's Loot Crate I had seen reviews and even Loot Crate's own reveal and I really hoped we would get the C3PO earbuds (over Darth Mall, Yoda, and Darth Vader). I always feel like C3PO is more CJ's style than Darth Vader AND we already have his bobble head from Loot Crate. Anyway, CJ was worried they would be all look and not work but turns out they have some pretty good sound quality. Win!
Price: $9.99
VGHS Button Set: More VHGS stuff! CJ isn't a big button person- no where to put them- so this was the only meh item from the crate this month. They might appeal more after watching the show but even so, buttons aren't a huge thing for us. Price: ~$3
Epic-Scents + Sega- Sonic Air Freshener: CJ is still rocking his Mega Man Air Freshener from a past Loot Crate, but it's probably not doing anything anymore! Time for a change up. Sonic will always be a classic. Price: $3.99
PEZ + Marvel- Captain America PEZ Dispenser: Well, these went quick. PEZ ALWAYS go quick! This isn't our first PEZ awesomeness from Loot Crate and there is no complaining here. Captain America isn't my fav but he's pretty good too. I think they would have all been good. Price: $3.49
VHGS + Danger Brain- VGHS Pencil: It's actually an "Emergency Wireless Keyboard" but without the fullshot maybe people don't get it's a pencil. Get it? Wireless keyboard. Old school jokery. Price: ~$1
Danger Brain + VGHS- VGHS Stormtrooper Vinyl Sticker: This sticker is pretty great, I love mashups especially in this case with old and new geekdom coming together! Price: ~$1
Rocket Jump Vinyl Sticker: VHGS is apparently from Rocket Jump so here's their logo- liking the logo- it's already on CJ's. board. Price: ~$1
Verdict: First off, I'm really impressed with Loot Crate's customer service for helping us get out box this month! And quickly too, I might add! This month wasn't our favorite since we haven't seen VGHS yet but there were super solid and awesome products this month. The best was the PEZ, stormtrooper sticker, earbuds, and VGHS DVD. Fun stuff. All totaled this box ended up being valued around $29.46 so quite a bit over what we pay!
Can I just say how excited I am about next month's Loot Crate?!?! Yes, they are celebrating their 1-year anniversary/birthday but also, one of the biggest game franchises out there! P.S. It made me sad that some people announced the theme on sites and had no idea it was related to Portal! I have literally jammed out to "Still Alive" many a time (or "The Cake Is a Lie" as some- like me- call it).
