June Julep Review
Yeah! It's time to review Julep! I love me some Julep and I was stoked for my all nail polish box this month. For June, Julep released a DD cream and concealer but I decided to opt out of those options and go for the It Girl box which is ALL nail polish! I'm wearing two of the colors right now! Check 'em out!Julep:
Type: Nail Box
Cost: $19.99/month includes shipping

Zee box! Sorry my pic quality isn't great!
"Info Cards." These aren't really info cards since the products speak for themselves! I love the quotes they include now though and the different "challenges."
My goodies!!
Dolle's Saltwater Taffy: I love that Julep always includes some kind of extra in their box. Sometimes it's a sweet treat and sometimes it's a beauty product, etc. I have a giant sweet tooth and am always a fan of taffy so I was stoked for this summery treat. I had the lime one and gave out the chocolate and strawberry flavors and I can't really speak for the others but I loved my lime one. Mmm. Price: ~$0.20
My beautiful polish!
Char: When I first saw this is person, I was a bit worried that this was too similar to another Julep polish I own and was at the time wearing on my toes. I switched it up and painted my toes this color and they are totally different. I love the deep, dark blue color with a hint of a rich purple. Love it. Price: $14
Nan: I have a feeling that in the long run, Nan will end up being my favorite color from this month. I love that it's called Nan too, I wish I could go Nantucket! It's a red cream and looks amazing. I tried using it when I did my mani as a accent nail but it didn't play well with others. This color needs to be the focus. I see this on my next mani with some white accents mayhaps? Price: $14
Bess: Love this. Bess is the reason I couldn't stay away from ordering this month. This baby blue color is fantastic and I am actually wearing it right now! Btw there is a set called Nautical by Nature of Bess, Char, and a white color that looks amazing. Price: $14
Bunny: Side note: I opted for an add-on this month! I was running low on my white (from Essie) and thought Bunny looked perfect. Well, I brought my other white with me and it leaked!!! Nothing but that color was ruined, but it did mean that getting this is the mail was kismet! By the way, this is actually the white in that Nautical by Nature set! Be wary that there is a fine shimmer of gold in this polish which isn't too visible but does make it hard to remove. I got this a bit before the full box and so I painted my nails with a light purple from Julep and used Bunny as an accent nail and I loved it. Price: $14
Verdict: Without my add-on, my box ended up being worth $42.20 (ish) which is well over the $20 that the service costs. I don't think I've ever used the colors as fast as I did this month which shows that I was a fan! As always, I am looking forward to seeing what July's box entails!
