It's a niche Giveaway so good chances people!
So, this review was going to be my first one of October... Woah, kinda messed up on that, right?!!? I LOVE candles and let me tell you, they are more than just decorative when your power is out! I wanted to try
Flicker Box so badly and then
I screwed up with my hiatus! Argh! Well, no time like the present! Take a look at this AWESOME sub box and get in on this product!
I mean, who doesn't want to be bundled up inside, drinking cocoa, and eating baked goods, watching a good Holiday flick (got about 10 on my to-do list right now), bathed in the warm light of some delicious-smelling candles?!? Paints a pretty nice picture, am I right?!

Zee box.
Oh, hey, I bet I know what box this is!
Unboxing.
This is the first unboxing where I wish there was some sort of smell-o-vision since the unboxing was all about smell. I opened up the box and bam! Candles!
First look.
LOADS of stuff! And the "trick or treat" bag? I was so excited- it's darling.
By the way, the dust is a mixture of unboxing candles (wax) and those paper things used for packing- they create mondo dust!
The unboxing pic had the info card in it so here's some other "info cards" they are actually business cards from the various businesses that
Flicker Box sent out (and totally approve of btw).
Witch City Wicks- Trick-or-Treat Tealights: This 6-pack (and the next) was made exclusively for
Flicker Box which is ultra awesome. They hail from Salem, WA (hence Witch City) and make artisan soy candle products. 100% all-natural and free of every kind of junk you can guess. They last 4 hrs each (super long for tealights) and they use quality fragrances to make them smell awesome! We use tealights all the time so these were added to our collection and then promptly used.
Price: $5.75
Witch City Wicks- Poison Apple Tealights: Woah! This smell was sta-rong! (The "a" is added in the word for effect, hopefully you know I can spell strong...) When I unboxed, this was definitely the winner in strong scents! They say (on the info card) that they use materials to create a long-lasting candle with the best-smelling scents and I can vouch for long-lasting! Who knew tealights could carry so much scent? I sure didn't. Honestly, it wasn't my favorite scent but it actually burned quite lovely and it grew on me. The fact that these smells were so definite in tealights really makes me want their Holiday candles. They have a pack called Holly Berry that I bet smells fantastic!
Price: $5.75
Armadilla Wax Works- Floating Pumpkin Candle: Cute, cute, cute, cute. That's how I felt about this. I would have never guessed this was a floating candle at first sight which makes it even more adorable! The flame will naturally diffuse itself in the water so you can enjoy the floating wonder without fear of burning down the house! Did I mention it's cute? We haven't burnt ours yet, and yes, I know it's been 2 months! We bought a bunch of mini pumpkins to decorate the house for Fall and this candle just fit in so perfectly we used it to decorate too! Now that it's "ice-mageddon," I think it's time to use this baby... Even if it seems too cute to burn... Price: $1.80
Mosley Lane- The Witching Hour, All Hallows Eve, Spice Pumpkin Candles: Umm, these smell awesome. Seriously, they smelled so good. They are all Halloween-inspired fragrances but I would use them at any time of year! The scent names are notated on the bottom/info card, just so you don't think I'm making them up! They are made from soy wax and beeswax and use a natural cotton wick- I had no idea you could get so intricate with candles! Loved these 3 candles! Price: $2.50 each
The Flying Farm- Autumn Leaves: Woah, definitely the winner of this already fun box! CJ and I love this scent and I love glass jar candles since you don't need a holder or anything for them! I have actually seen this Etsy business quite a bit recently which shows she is doing something right. We love this candle and since the container is made from a mason jar it is recyclable when the candle is all used up! Extra Credit for being earth-conscious! Price: $8
Treat or Treat Goodies: This adorable bag held nummies! Yes! Why can't adults trick-or-treat? Seriously, I love candy more than some kids do, so why can't I go door-to-door getting free sweets? Le sigh. Back to the point, I loved this addition. Perfect tie in to the month's box and it's a sweet treat! The bag is simply darling too!
Matches: Super smart addition. Can you send out a box of candles without a way to light them? Well,
Flicker Box took care of that for you!
Verdict: Well, this was so cute, it was bewitching... See what I did there? Really though, it was a perfect October box and I love that they kept a solid theme throughout (Nov was all beeswax-related btw). I get a lot of sub boxes and sometimes unboxing becomes a little monotonous so it makes fun boxes like this all the more special. I definitely had a smile on my face the whole time I was going through this box. Great products and the price is right with these artisan candles coming in at $29 and with the extras I would value this box at $31. This box was so fun, and was perfect for someone like me who loves candles!
